Royal Enfield is expected to strengthen its 350-650 cc lineup alongside introducing the brand new 750 cc range and EVs in the coming years

Having recently renewed its existing models, Royal Enfield is now preparing for a new phase of growth. The company is placing strong emphasis on widening its 450 cc family, a space that has quickly become popular with modern riders. At the same time, RE is progressing with larger capacity machines expected to slot between 650 cc and 750 cc.

The forthcoming offerings will be spread across multiple segments giving enthusiasts wider options to choose from. With numerous debuts lined up, the brand is clearly charting a new product roadmap for the years ahead. Royal Enfield is also preparing mid-cycle updates for its 350 cc range including familiar names like the Bullet 350 and Meteor 350.

They are likely to see refreshed colour options, revised graphics and perhaps a couple of feature enhancements. Underneath the skin, the mechanical package is expected to remain identical. Reports indicate that Royal Enfield is developing a café racer derivative of the Guerrilla 450 with a potential launch projected for 2026-27.

It will be positioned to rival Triumph’s newly launched Thruxton 400. Multiple spy shots along with earlier updates confirm that the versatile 450 cc architecture is being adapted to support this new café racer design. Royal Enfield appears to be laying the groundwork for a bigger sibling to the Bullet with the Bullet 650 Twin name filed for trademark.

While the Bullet 350 currently serves as one of the brand’s more affordable offerings, the new twin-cylinder variant is expected to bring a stronger performance edge. It could be positioned just under the Classic 650 Twin in terms of price and hierarchy – giving riders a more accessible entry point into Royal Enfield’s parallel-twin range.

The Chennai-based brand is also pushing into a bigger league with the development of an all-new 750 cc motor – internally codenamed the R platform. The maiden motorcycle to use this setup is tipped to be the Continental GT-R which is likely to make its debut before the financial year wraps up. Early indications suggest the bike could carry forward a café racer-inspired design language – staying true to the GT lineage.

Alongside preparing to introduce its first electric motorcycle, the Flying Flea C6, later this year or in early 2026 – followed by a scrambler-inspired derivative – Royal Enfield is also advancing work on an electric Himalayan. At the same time, the possibility of launching a larger 750 cc iteration of the brand’s popular adventure tourer does exist.

New Hyundai venue

Here we have explained about the possible new compact SUVs from Hyundai and Kia over the next 12 to 18 months

In the coming 12 to 18 months, Hyundai and Kia are set to strengthen their footprint in India with a slew of new launches spread across different segments. The compact SUV space, in particular, will witness plenty of activity as the Korean duo are reportedly readying at least three new models to take on intensifying competition and here is a quick look at what is possibly in store:

1. Kia Syros Electric:

Kia has been steadily expanding its portfolio in India. Only a few months ago, the Syros arrived in its IC-engined form followed soon after by the introduction of the Carens Clavis ICE and the all-electric Clavis EV. Now, attention is shifting back to the Syros, as reports suggest that an electric derivative is under development.

Expected to debut locally sometime next year, the Kia Syros EV will more likely mirror the practicality and spacious nature of its ICE sibling while bringing the benefits of zero-emission driving. It could be offered with two battery options with the claimed driving range going well over 450 km between charges.

New Hero Glamour X Detailed Ride Review & Mileage Test – Segment’s Best?

GaadiWaadi -

Hero Glamour X uses the same 124.7 cc air-cooled engine found in the Xtreme 125 R producing 11.5 PS and 10.5 Nm

Hero MotoCorp introduced the Glamour X a few days ago and is packed with features – so much so that it is undoubtedly the most advanced 125 cc motorcycle out there in the market with segment-first features such as cruise control, ride-by-wire throttle system and more. It also gets a TFT instrument console with Bluetooth and turn-by-turn navigation and three ride modes namely Eco, Power and Road.

On the performance front, the Glamour X is powered by a 124.7 cc air-cooled engine that develops 11.5 PS at 8,250 rpm and 10.5 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm. The motor feels well-refined across the rev range and the sweet spot lies comfortably between 50 kmph and 80 kmph where it delivers smooth power with minimal vibrations.

Even when pushed, the bike managed a top speed of over 105 kmph easily. In terms of ride quality, the Glamour X comes with a wide handlebar and good tank grip – offering confident ergonomics. The motorcycle rides on 18-inch wheels wrapped in 80/100 front and 100/80 rear section tyres – providing decent grip and stability.

Also Read: Hero Xtreme 125R Single Seat Variant Launched At Rs. 1 Lakh

The suspension setup consists of 30 mm RSU telescopic forks at the front and twin shocks at the rear with 5-step preload adjustment. The suspension feels supple, soaking up most undulations with ease while high speed stability inspires confidence – especially above 80 kmph.

Braking duties are handled by a 240 mm front disc and a rear drum brake. However, ABS is only reserved for the sportier Xtreme 125 R. That said, braking feedback is reassuring with CBS and the bike also benefits from Hero’s safety-focused features like panic brake alert. The Glamour X also gains Type-C charging port and a host of accessories.

2025-Hero-Glamour-X-125.jpg

While the seat provides decent comfort, longer rides tend to highlight its limitations as we felt it was not the best for extended hours in the saddle. During our test, the Glamour X returned an overall fuel efficiency of 55.47 kmpl. We covered 121.5 km in one go with the trip meter showing 354 km on the odometer by the end of the day.

The mileage numbers were recorded at steady highway speeds of 65–70 kmph, although Hero’s i3S start-stop tech didn’t make much difference in this scenario due to constant highway riding. Still, the real-world efficiency figures are respectable – keeping the Glamour X competitive in the segment. To watch our in-depth review, check the video above!

TVS To Launch A New Electric Scooter On August 28 – Details

GaadiWaadi -

Tvs Electric Scooter

Expected to be named Orbiter, the all-new electric scooter from TVS will be launched on 28th August

TVS Motor Company is all set to introduce a new product in the Indian market. The Indian two-wheeler manufacturer recently shared a teaser, revealing the launch timeline of the upcoming model, with the caption ‘get ready for an electrifying ride’.

Scheduled to go on sale on August 28, the new electric scooter could be dubbed the ‘Orbiter’, as a large O letter can be seen in the background of the teaser image. The new ‘Orbiter’ name was also trademarked by TVS last year in India, further confirming that the upcoming EV could use this nameplate.

The company registered a design patent for a new electric scooter for the Indonesian market in June this year. According to media reports, the same e-scooter that will be launched in India; however, nothing can be confirmed as of now. The two-wheeler in the patent images features a futuristic design language with a sleek stance.

It gets a beefy front profile with a tall windscreen, conventional headlamp position and horizontal LED DRL with integrated turn indicators. We can further spot a flat floorboard, sleek body panels, split grab rails and a set of conventional telescopic forks at the front. We could possibly see these design elements in the new electric scooter.

If the latest speculations are something to go by, the new TVS e-scooter could get a mid-mounted electric motor, as opposed to the commonly used hub-mounted setups. The advantage of a mid-mounted electric motor includes a quieter ride, efficient performance and a better weight distribution.

Tvs Electric Scooter (1)

While further details on the upcoming two-wheeler are awaited, we expect it to be the new entry-level model in the TVS electric scooter line-up. The current base-spec iQube is priced around Rs. 1 lakh. This means that the new model could be priced below Rs. 1 lakh. This will put ‘Orbiter’ in the same bracket as the lower variants of the Bajaj Chetak and Ola S1X.

The new electric scooter will help TVS to strengthen its presence in the electric scooter segment, along with diversifying the options for customers. With the electric vehicle market expected to grow exponentially in the coming years, this is a step in the right direction.

The Indian midsize SUV market is on the verge of a major shake up. Over the next six to nine months, buyers can expect a slew of new contenders as automakers set to crowd the space with new launches. Names like Tata Motors, Mahindra, Renault, Kia and Nissan are already lining up their next set of products. Here’s a quick look at what’s in store:

1. New Renault Duster:

2024-Renault-Duster-Leaked-2.jpg

The all-new Renault Duster is preparing for its Indian comeback with a launch expected in late 2025 or 2026. The new iteration will be underpinned by the CMF-B+ architecture – a modular platform that the company is said to be currently localising for domestic use. In a significant departure from its old-gen model, the SUV is tipped to adopt hybrid powertrain technology but initially it could be only available with petrol engines.

Renault is lining up a compact MPV derived from the same architecture as the Triber which will be followed by a larger midsize SUV. The latter is expected to step in as a modern successor to the discontinued Terrano. Sharing its underpinnings with the forthcoming new-gen Duster, the SUV will also sit on the CMF-B+ platform and carry forward several commonalities in design and mechanicals. It has also been caught testing in India just as its Renault sibling and will launch next year.

4. New Tata Sierra:

Tata is preparing to bring back the Sierra nameplate – this time starting off as an all-electric model. The EV, tipped for launch before the current financial year closes, is likely to borrow its foundations from the Harrier EV. Once the electric version hits the market, the brand plans to expand the lineup with combustion-driven options too in 2026.
