Tata Harrier EV Launching On 3rd June – Tech, Features, Specs

Tata Motors is all set to launch the much-awaited Harrier EV on 3rd June, 2025. It will be sixth electric offering from Tata, aimed at taking on Mahindra’s born-electric SUVs – BE 6 and XEV 9e. In terms of pricing and segment positioning, it will also compete with the Hyundai Creta Electric and the upcoming Maruti e Vitara. However, both these EVs are less powerful than the Harrer EV and miss out on the AWD (all-wheel drive) capability.

Expected Price & Tata’s EV Infra:

Similar to the Punch EV and Curvv EV, the Tata Harrier EV will be based on Gen 2 Acti.ev platform. It’s estimated to be priced around Rs 25 lakh for the base variant and nearly Rs 30 lakh for the top-end trim.

In preparation for upcoming EV launches, Tata Motors recently setup its first 10 TATA.ev MegaChargers in association with ChargeZone and Statiq. The home-grown automaker aims to increase charging points to 400,000 by 2027 – nearly double the existing numbers.

Battery, Range & Power:

The official specifications of the Tata Harrier EV are yet to be revealed. However, the electric SUV is expected to be offered with multiple battery options, a dual electric motor setup and optional AWD. Its range is expected to be over 500km on a single charge. Tata has already confirmed that the EV will deliver a maximum torque of 500Nm. It will support both V2V (vehicle-to-vehicle) and V2L (vehicle-to-load) charging functionalities.

Interior & Features:

The electric Harrier will share several design elements and features with its ICE counterpart. Inside, the EV will feature a floating touchscreen infotainment system, a fully digital instrument cluster, a 4-spoke steering wheel, a dual-tone dashboard and touch-based HVAC controls. Additional features will include connected car features, dual zone climate control, new terrain modes, OTA (over-the-air) updates, a panoramic sunroof, front and rear parking sensors, ADAS tech and more.

Upcoming Maruti Escudo SUV – 5 Key Details To Know!

If you’re a regular follower of the automotive industry, you may have come across reports about the arrival of the new Maruti 7-seater SUV based on the Grand Vitara. Interestingly, the model that was initially considered a three-row SUV will, in fact, be a new midsize 5-seater SUV from Maruti Suzuki. While the name and details of the product are still under the wraps, it’s expected to be named ‘Maruti Escudo’. Now, let’s take a look at the top 5 key details we know so far about this upcoming Maruti SUV – codenamed Maruti Y17.

Hybrid Powertrain

The Maruti Escudo will share its platform and powertrains with the Grand Vitara, which is available with the 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol and 1.5L hybrid options. The petrol engine delivers a maximum power output of 103bhp, paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox. The strong hybrid setup offers a combined power of 79bhp and 141Nm of torque, when paired with an e-CVT gearbox.

Bigger than Brezza, Longer than Grand Vitara

Dimensionally, the new Maruti Y17 will be larger than the Brezza sub-4 metre SUV. In fact, it could be slightly longer than the Grand Vitara, which measures 4,345mm in length. Its length is expected to fall between 4,330mm – 4,365mm. The boot space of the Escudo might also be slightly bigger than the Grand Vitara, which offers a cargo volume of 373-litres.

Arena Exclusive

Unlike the Grand Vitara, which is retailed via Nexa premium network, the new Maruti Escudo (Maruti Y17) will be sold through Arena dealerships. This indicates that the company aims to attract a wider section of buyers with relatively affordable pricing. However, it might miss out on some of the premium features available in the Grand Vitara.  

Launch Date & Positioning

The Escudo 5-seater SUV will go on sale in India during 2025 Diwali season, possibly between September – October. In Maruti Suzuki’s SUV lineup, the Maruti Y17 will sit above the Brezza and below the Grand Vitara.

Expected Price

It would be quite early to comment on its pricing. However, the Maruti Escudo is expected to cost more or less similar to the Grand Vitara. The entry-level petrol variant might be offered at Rs 10 – 11 lakh, while the fully-loaded hybrid variant could be priced around Rs 20 lakh.

Maruti, Tata, Renault Are Coming For CRETA – New SUV Launches!

Hyundai Creta has been an undisputed leader in the midsize SUV segment ever since its market debut. The proof lies in the fact that, on an average, nearly one Creta is sold every 2.5 minutes in India. With cumulative sales of 69,914 units between January to April 2025, the SUV has solidified its position as the top-selling SUV in the country. However, competition is set to intensify as OEMs such as Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors and Renault prepare to launch midsize SUVs during 2025-2026.

Maruti’s Creta Rival SUV

The Indo-Japanese will introduce a new midsize SUV (codenamed Y17) during this year’s festive season. This new Maruti SUV will sit between the Brezza and Grand Vitara, and could be named ‘Escudo’.

Interestingly, it will be sold via Area dealership network, hinting at a more affordable pricing strategy. The Maruti Escudo will share the Global-C platform with the Grand Vitara. In fact, the 104bhp, 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol and 116bhp, 1.5L hybrid powertrain might also be sourced from the Grand Vitara. A CNG fuel option is also expected to be offered.

Tata’s Creta Rival SUV

The all-new Tata Sierra will Tata’s answer to the Hyundai Creta and is slated to hit showrooms in the second half of 2025. The SUV will be offered with three powertrain options – petrol, diesel and electric. The petrol and diesel versions are expected to feature 1.5L turbo and 2.0L turbo engines, respectively.

The Tata Sierra EV could be offered two or more battery pack options. Tata has confirmed the SUV will deliver a maximum torque of 500Nm, while the range is expected to be around 500km on a single charge.

Renault’s Creta Rival SUV

The third-generation Renault Duster is scheduled to hit Indian roads in 2026. While the official specifications are yet to be revealed, it’s expected to come with the 1.0L turbo petrol and 1.3L turbo petrol engine options.

One of the major highlights of the new Duster could be its hybrid powertrain. Renault is actively is considering hybrid technology for the Indian market, and it’s likely to be introduced with the Duster. The carmaker will equip the SUV will several advanced features including the ADAS suite.

2025 Suzuki Access 125 Launched With New TFT Display & Colour

Suzuki Motorcycle India has launched the updated Access 125 lineup with noticeable feature upgrades. The scooter now receives a new variant equipped with a 4.2-inch TFT instrument cluster and a new colour scheme, called the 2025 Suzuki Access Ride Connect Edition.

This new variant has been priced at Rs 1,01,900, making it nearly Rs 6,800 more expensive than the Ride Connect Edition with LCD cluster, which is priced at Rs 95,100. The Special Edition Disc brake and Standard Edition Drum brake variants are offered at Rs 90,500 and Rs 83,800, respectively. All mentioned prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.

The 2025 Suzuki Access Ride Connect Edition comes with a 4.2-inch multi-function colour TFT screen, which allows smartphone connectivity via Bluetooth. As per the official claims, the new screen offers faster refresh rates, more accurate colours, higher contrast ratios and brighter colours. The updated lineup also gets a new Pearl Mat Aqua Silver colour along with the existing paint schemes including Pearl Grace White, Metallic Mat Stellar Blue, Metallic Mat Black No.2 and Solid Ice Green.

Tata Sierra & Renault Duster Launch Timeline – CRETA Fighters!

First launched in 2015, the Hyundai Creta marked the brand’s entry into the midsize compact SUV segment, and quickly became a brand name in itself. The SUV has always been favoured for its premium feel, feature-rich interior, and multiple engine options. The model is currently in its second generation, and is set for yet another generational shift in 2027. Aiming to challenge its dominance in the compact SUV space, Tata Motors and Renault are set to re-introduce their cult brands in all-new avatars – the Sierra and the Duster, respectively.

Let’s take a look at how these two SUVs could prove to be strong contenders for the Hyundai Creta.  

Tata Sierra

The revival of the Sierra brand will be one of the major events in the Indian automobile industry this year. The carmaker has confirmed that the SUV will return in an-all new form in the second half of 2025, possibly around the Diwali season. The 2025 Tata Sierra will come with the 1.5L turbo petrol and 2.0L diesel engines and manual and automatic gearbox options. An electric version of the SUV is also on the cards. The Sierra EV is likely come with multiple battery options, delivering a range of around 500km.

Interestingly, the Tata Sierra EV could be offered with a 4-seater lounge-like interior along with the regular 5-seater configuration. In terms of features, the SUV will offer a panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charger, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a large 12-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a fully digital instrument cluster, auto dimming IRVM, ventilated seats, 360 degree camera and Level 2 ADAS.

New Renault Duster

The third-generation Renault Duster’s India launch has been planned for 2026. While official details are yet to be revealed, it’s expected to be offered with two turbo petrol engines – a 1.0L and a 1.3L. This time around, the Duster might also come with the hybrid powertrain. Both manual and automatic gearboxes will be on offer, with a CVT automatic likely reserved for the higher trims.

Compared to its previous generation, the 2026 Renault Duster is set to be far more upmarket. The SUV is expected to be offered with a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 7-inch digital driver’s display, a 6-sepaker Arkamys 3D sound system, ventilated front seats, automatic climate control, wireless phone charging, ADAs and more.

Hyundai’s BIG Plan For India – 20 ICEs, 6EVs, Hybrid Confirmed!

Here’s a BIG news from Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL)! The South Korean automaker has confirmed 26 new products for the Indian market including facelifts, new-generation models, all-new products coming by the end financial year 2030. The range will consist of 20 ICE (internal combustion engine) vehicles, 6 electric vehicles (EVs) and hybrid vehicles.

The carmaker says “these aggressive and strategic launch plans demonstrate Hyundai Motor India’s strong commitment to innovation, market responsiveness & delivering sustained value to our customers.” Hyundai hasn’t yet revealed the name of the upcoming products, here’s what we can expect.

Upcoming Hyundai ICE Models

Hyundai’s popular Venue and Creta SUVs are set to enter their next generation in 2025 and 2027, respectively. The all-new Venue is likely to come with significantly updated design and interior, while the engine setup will remain unchanged. The Tucson SUV will also receive a midlife update sometime this year.

The South Korean automaker has also planned to launch the Hyundai Bayon compact crossover in FY2026-27. In global markets, it’s offered with a 1.0L turbocharged petrol engine with two states of tune. Once launched, it will be positioned against the Maruti Fronx and is estimated to cost between Rs 10 lakh – Rs 15 lakh.

More details about the rest upcoming Hyundai cars (ICE) will be revealed in near future.

Upcoming Hyundai EVs

Hyundai Inster Range

The South Korean automaker aims to expand its EV product portfolio with 6 new models, which are likely include the Inster EV, Ioniq 9, Grand i10 Nios EV and Venue EV. Speculations also suggest that Hyundai Exter EV launch might also be on cards. Additionally, the Hyundai Creta Electric facelift will receive its first midlife update in 2027.

Upcoming Hyundai Hybrid Cars

Hyundai hybrid cars have finally been confirmed for India. While the names and details of the models are not available at the moment, the lineup might include a three-row SUV and the Creta hybrid.

The new 7-seater hybrid SUV will sit between the Alcazar and Tucson SUVs in the company’s product portfolio. With the next-generation update in 2027, the Creta will also receive a strong hybrid powertrain. The carmaker might offer the globally available Tucson’s 1.6L petrol hybrid powertrain or use the 1.5L naturally aspirated petrol engine with the strong hybrid system.

The company is likely to view the hybrid technology as a replacement for the diesel engines, especially in light of the upcoming  stricter BS7 emission norms.

Tata Punch CNG Gets A New Rival, Priced Just Over Rs 7 Lakh

The Citroen C3 is now available with the CNG fuel option. Buyers can retrofit the CNG kit to all four variants of the hatchback at any Citron dealership nationwide. The CNG variants are Rs 93,000 more expensive than their petrol counterparts. The Citroen C3 Live and Feel CNG variants are priced at Rs 7.16 lakh and Rs 7.41 lakh, respectively. The Feel (O) and the top-end Shine CNG variants are offered at Rs 8.45 lakh and Rs 9.09 lakh, respectively. All mentioned prices are ex-showroom. In terms of competition, the Citroen C3 CNG takes on the Tata Punch iCNG, which is available in the price range of Rs 7.30 lakh – Rs 10.17 lakh (ex-showroom).

Citroen C3 CNG Specifications:

Lovato gas India will supply CNG kit for the C3 hatchback. The kit has a single gas cylinder with capacity of 55-litres, which is claimed to offer a driving range of 170-200km. This CNG kit is paired with a 1.2L naturally aspirated petrol engine, delivering a maximum power of 82bhp and 115Nm of torque.

The power and torque figures of the CNG version are yet to be revealed. However, the carmaker has confirmed that the Citroen C3 CNG offers an ARAI-rated fuel efficiency of 28.1km/kg. Transmission duties are handled by a 5-speed manual gearbox. Furthermore, the carmaker claims that the rear suspension of the hatchback has also been updated.

Mahindra Bolero & Bolero Neo Bold Editions Launched

Mahindra & Mahindra has revealed the new Bolero Neo Bold Edition and Bolero Bold Edition for the Indian market. These special editions receive a few cosmetic enhancements over the regular top-end variants, while the engine setups have been carried forward. The prices of the Bold Editions are yet to be revealed. The regular Mahindra Bolero comes in the price range of Rs 9.81 lakh – Rs 10.93 lakh, while the Bolero Neo is priced between Rs 9.97 lakh – Rs 12.18 lakh. All mentioned prices are ex-showroom.

What’s New?

The Mahindra Bolero Neo Bold Edition has a dark chrome themed exterior, black roof rails and a ‘Bold Edition’ badge on the rear fender. The dark chrome treatment on the front grille, fog lamp embellishments and spare wheel cover distinguish it from the regular model. Inside, the Bolero Neo Bold Edition gets black upholstery along with a rear-view camera. The Mahindra Bolero Bold Edition comes with the same dark chrome themed exterior, a sporty black front bumper and a black interior. The rear AC vents additionally receive dark chrome detailing.

Same Engines:

As mentioned above, no changes have been made to their engine setup. The Bolero Neo Bold Edition uses the same 74bhp, 1.5L diesel engine, paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The Mahindra Bolero Bold Edition comes with the 98bhp, 1.5L diesel engine and a 5-speed manual transmission.

New-Gen Mahindra Bolero Launch Timeline

The home-grown automaker has confirmed the new-generation Bolero and Bolero EV for the next year. The SUV’s all-new model will be based on Mahindra’s New Flexible Architecture (NFA) platform, which is set to debut on 15th August, 2025. The new-gen Bolero is likely to receive significant design changes and feature upgrades.

Meanwhile, the company is gearing to launch the XUV3XO EV in the coming months. This subcompact EV will be followed by the XEV 7e electric 7-seater SUV towards the end of this year. It will be electric version of the XUV700, challenging the upcoming Tata Safari EV, and Hyundai Creta Electric.

New-Gen Hyundai Creta & Kia Seltos Hybrid Launch On Cards

The Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos have been dominating the midsize SUV segment in India ever since their market arrival. Considering the raising competition and product lifcycles, both SUVs are set for a generational shift with significant design, features and mechanical upgrades including the hybrid powertrain.

The official launch timelines of both SUVs are yet to be revealed. However, the second-generation Kia Seltos is expected to arrive in 2026, while the third-gen Hyundai Creta will go on sale in 2027. Let’s take a look at the key details of these upcoming SUVs.

New-Gen Kia Seltos

The next-generation Seltos is expected to make global debut in late 2025, followed by its India launch in 2026. The carmaker might introduce the SUV with a 1.5L, 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine, paired with a strong hybrid system. This same powertrain will be used in Kia’s upcoming three-row SUV, which will rival the Mahindra XUV700, Tata Safari and Hyundai Alcazar.

The existing 1.5L turbo petrol and diesel engines will also be carried forward to the new lineup. The 2026 Kia Seltos is likely to feature an all-new design language, inspired by Kia’s new-gen global electric SUVs. Major changes will also be made inside the cabin.

New-Gen Hyundai Creta

The third-gen Hyundai Creta (codenamed SX3) is likely to be offered with a strong hybrid powertrain, comprising a 1.5L petrol engine, an electric motor and a hybrid setup. Upgrading diesel engines to comply with the upcoming BS7 emission standard could be a cost affair, so Hyundai might position hybrid as an alternative. The 2027 Hyundai Creta is expected to come with significantly improved styling and a more premium interior. The carmaker will also update the Creta Electric in 2027. Currently, the electric version of the SUV is available in five trims, with prices starting from Rs 17.99 lakh onwards.

Royal Enfield Electric Bikes C6 & S6 CONFIRMED – Launch By FY2026

Royal Enfield is all set to enter the Indian electric two-wheeler market towards the end of this financial year (during January – March 2026). The Royal Enfield electric bikes will come under the brand’s new subsidiary – the Flying Flea. The company has planned two electric bikes – the C6 and the S6 – both of which are currently in the testing phase. The former will be a classic-styled motorcycle, while the latter will be a scrambler designed for both on-road and off-road riding purpose.

The Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 will be the first electric offering from the Chennai-based bikemaker in the country. B.Govindarajan, Eicher Motors Managing Director, has revealed that the Flying Flea brand will offer “urban and city-focused electric two-wheelers for the future, which is timeless yet modern technology and design, which is embedded into the motorcycle.”

Retail Strategy Under Discussion

The retail strategy for the upcoming Royal Enfield electric bikes is currently under discussion. RE is evaluating retail channel and approaches – whether to use the existing retail network, establish EV exclusive showrooms or go for a D2C (direct-to-consumer) model. The final decision is likely to be made by the next quarter (i.e. by September, 2025). Royal Enfield plans to invest over Rs 1,500 crore for its electric vehicle business, including R&D for EVs, design and development, manufacturing, and retail.

Eicher Motors & Stark Future Partnership For EVs

In December 2022, Eicher Motors (the parent company of Royal Enfield) and Stark Future S.L. have entered into a strategic partnership for developing electric motorcycles through collaborative R&D and technology sharing and manufacturing venture. Stark Future S.L. is a European electric motorcycle manufacturer, renowned for developing some of the most advanced and versatile motorcross bikes.

Under this partnership Stark will provide its technical expertise in battery technology, motors and motor controllers, battery management systems (BMS), material selection and winding techniques. Eicher Motors, on the other hand, will take care of supply chain, sourcing of parts and manufacturing of select components.

New-Gen Hyundai Venue Coming Sooner Than Expected!

The third-generation Hyundai Venue is one of the major upcoming model from the South Korean automaker this year. While the official launch date and details of the compact SUV are yet to be revealed, it’s expected to hit roads during 2025 festive season (i.e. September – October). The new 2025 Hyundai Venue is likely to come with significantly improved styling and more features and tech, while retaining the existing engine-gearbox combinations.

Evolved Design:

Recently, the top-end variant of the new Hyundai Venue was caught on camera, wearing black camouflage. The latest spy images clearly show newly-designed, dual-tone alloy wheels, a larger and redesigned front grille with distinctive inserts, revised front bumper, new LED DRLs and a DCT badge on the fenders. The rear profile of the new Venue will be revised with a slightly tweaked bumper and new LED taillamps. The overall silhouette and design language will remain intact. In fact, no changes will be made to its dimensions.

More Features:

Moving inside the cabin, the 2025 Hyundai Venue is expected have a completely new dashboard with new upholstery and trims. The revised centre console and ambient lighting will further enhance its appeal. Aiming to improve its value-for-money proposition, Hyundai might add features such as the ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, larger infotainment system and instrument cluster.

Improved Safety:

Major improvement will be made on the safety front. The new Hyundai Venue will feature the rear disc brakes, which are currently exclusive to the Venue N Line. Furthermore, the Level 1 ADAS will be upgraded to the Level 2 offering features such as adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go functionality, forward collision warning, blind spot monitoring, lane keep assist and more.

Engine Options:

The 2025 Hyundai Venue will continue to come with the 83PS, 1.2L naturally aspirated petrol, 120PS, 1.0L turbo-petrol and 116PS, 1.5L diesel engine options. The transmissions will also be carried forward, including a 5-speed manual (standard), a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DCT automatic.

New Budget-Friendly TVS Electric Scooter Launching Soon!

TVS Motor Company has some really big plans for this year, including the India debut of the Norton brand. Another exciting update is for EV buyers and enthusiasts – the home-grown two-wheeler is set to launch a new entry-level electric scooter before this year’s Diwali season. In the company’s EV product lineup, the new TVS electric scooter will sit below the TVS iQube, which is currently available in the price range of Rs 94,434 – Rs 1.86 lakh (ex-showroom).

New TVS Electric Scooter – What to Expect?

Battery, Range:

The new entry-level e-scooter from TVS is likely to feature a smaller battery pack – possibly a 2.2kWh or a completely new one. The battery will be paired with a hub-mounted electric motor, borrowed from the Bosch. Just so you know, the TVS iQube is currently available with three battery pack options – a 2.2kW, a 3.4kW and a 5.1kWh – delivering a claimed range of 75km, 100km and 150km, respectively.

Features:

The new TVS electric scooter is expected to offer fewer features than the iQube along with the simpler parts and components. The company recently filed patents for the XL, EV, and E-XL names, which are likely to be used for the electric TVS moped. Tata Betting BIG On Harrier EV & Sierra EV!

Tata Motors has registered a 10.7 percent YoY (year-on-year) decline in the electric vehicle (EV) sales for the financial year 2025. The carmaker managed to sell nearly 57,616 units as opposed to 64,530 units during the corresponding month last year. While Tata retained the top position in the EV space with 55.4 percent market share, this marks a significant drop from its earlier 80 percent share.

Why EV Sales Declined?

Multiple factors have contributed to the sales decline, including the tough competition from JSW MG Motor (with Windsor-like offering), the discontinuation of the FAME-II subsidy and challenges in fleet operations. Currently, Tata’s EV product portfolio comprises five models – the Tiago EV, Tigor EV, Punch EV, Nexon EV and Curvv EV.

Tata Harrier EV Details

Tata’s Future EV Plan:

Aiming to strengthen its position in the EV market, Tata Motors is gearing up to launch two new electric SUVs – the Harrier EV and Sierra EV. Additionally, the company plans to upgrade its existing models through midlife updates, generation changes and special editions. The Tata Harrier EV is all set to hit showrooms in June 2025, while the Tata Sierra EV is slated to arrive near around this year’s festive season.

Tata Harrier EV

Based on Tata’s Gen 2 Acti.ev platform, the Harrier EV will come with AWD system and offer a maximum torque of 500Nm. Kia To Launch Tata Nexon EV Rival SUV – Full Details

Kia announced two new mass-market electric models for the emerging markets (including India) at its Investor Day 2024. While the automaker hasn’t yet revealed the product name and details, these are likely to be the electric iterations of the Carens and Syros. While the Kia Carens EV is expected to go on sale in the coming months, the Kia Syros EV will arrive early next year. The Syros EV will be the smallest electric offering from the South Korean automaker in India, challenging the Tata Nexon EV and Mahindra XUV400.

Kia Syros EV – What We Know So Far!

Specific details of the Syros EV are not available at the moment. However, this EV is likely to share the K1 platform with the Hyundai Inster EV, which is sold in select global markets. The Inster EV is offered with two NMC (Nickel Manganese Cobalt) battery pack options – 42kWh and 49kWh, delivering WLTP-certified range of 300km and 355km, respectively. The Syros EV is expected to come with the FWD (front-wheel drive) system.

The overall design and styling of the Kia Syros EV will be identical to its ICE counterpart. A few EV-specific changes are expected such as the aero-optimized alloy wheels, EV-specific graphics for instrument cluster, new seat upholstery and trims.

Most of features will be carried forward from ICE version including the dual 12.3-inch displays, a 5-inch touchscreen for the climate control, system, a panoramic sunroof, sliding and ventilated second-row seats, a 360 degree camera, Level 2 ADAS and more.

When it comes to the pricing, the Kia Syros EV will definitely be more expensive than its ICE counterpart, which is currently available in the price range of Rs 15 lakh – Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom). The carmaker aims to achieve a combined sales volume of 50,000 – 60,000 from the Kia Carens EV and Syros EV by 2026.

The official launch of the Marut e Vitara has been confirmed for September, 2025. This will be Maruti Suzuki’s first electric offering and a direct answer to the Hyundai Creta Electric, MG ZS EV, Tata Curvv EV and Mahindra BE 6. Maruti Suzuki has confirmed that the e Vitara will offer a range of over 500km (MIDC) on a single charge. The new Maruti electric SUV will accelerate 0 to 100kmph under 9 seconds. The EV will also be available with a smaller 49kWh battery pack, powered by front-axle mounted motor. This configuration offers a maximum power of 143bhp and 192.5Nm of torque.

A few upgrades have been made inside the cabin. The 2025 Tata Altroz facelift borrows some features from the Nexon, Curvv and Altroz Racer variant. Tata has confirmed that the electric Harrier will come with V2V (vehicle-to-vehicle) and V2L (vehicle-to-load) charging capabilities. The SUV will also offer connected car tech, OTA (over-the-air) updates, and cloud connected telematics.
