Tata Harrier EV: What Features, Range & Tech Can You Expect?

Tata Motors has planned 3 major products for this year, including the Altroz facelift, Harrier EV and Sierra. While the updated Altroz premium hatchback is slated hit showrooms on 22nd May, the Harrier EV and Sierra are expected to arrive in June and near around the 2025 festive season, respectively. The Tata Harrier EV is one of the much-anticipated upcoming models from the homegrown automaker and it was showcased in its production form as the Stealth Edition at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Show.

Here’s what features, range and tech we can expect from the Tata Harrier EV.

Features & Tech:

The official teasers confirm that the Harrier EV features a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster and a four-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo, borrowed from its ICE counterpart. It has the same dual-tone interior theme along with a touch-based HVAC panel, a small drive selector and a rotary dial, an electronic parking brake and a panoramic sunroof.

Tata has confirmed that the electric Harrier will come with V2V (vehicle-to-vehicle) and V2L (vehicle-to-load) charging capabilities. The SUV will also offer connected car tech, OTA (over-the-air) updates, and cloud connected telematics.

The feature list might also include a powered tailgate, dual zone climate control, ventilated front seats, a 360 degree camera, front and rear parking sensors, hill hold assist, electronic stability control, tyre pressure monitoring system, multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, and Level 2 ADAS.

The Harrier EV will come with the multi-link rear suspension replacing the regular torsion beam unit.

Range & Battery:

The battery, range and performance figures are yet to be revealed. However, the Tata Harrier EV is expected to be offered with multiple battery pack options, dual electric motors and AWD setup. Tata did confirm that the electric Harrier will offer a maximum torque of 500Nm.

Design Elements:

Based on the Gen 2 Acti.ev platform, the Harrier EV features a closed-off grille, connected LED DRLs, revised bumpers, new aero-optimized 5-spoke alloy wheels, sliver skid plate, a shark fin antenna, ‘EV’ badges and connected LED taillamps.
