The new 2025 Hyundai i20 Magna iVT makes automatic cheaper than before; new features and safety equipment added too
Hyundai’s premium hatchback, the i20, has just gained a new variant. The i20 Magna Executive has been introduced at a price tag of Rs. 7,50,900 (ex-showroom), helping to expand the i20’s range. The Magna Executive trim adds key safety equipment such as six airbags, electronic stability control, vehicle stability management and hill start assist—features.
These were once confined to higher variants. The second largest car producer in the country has also brought its electric sunroof and iVT auto to the Magna variant making it the most affordable automatic within the series. Meanwhile, the Sportz (O) version has been given a subtle upgrade. It now features push-button start with a smart key, rear AC vents, electric sunroof and a seven-speaker Bose audio system.
Another key highlight is the 25.55 cm infotainment touchscreen accessory, available to customers at Rs. 14,999. The system includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility along with a rear-view camera and is backed by a 3-year warranty.

As for design details, variants like Sportz (O) continue to feature LED daytime running lamps, Z-shaped LED tail lamps, a digital cluster with TFT multi-information display and 15-inch wheels. Prices now span from Rs. 7,50,900 for the Magna Executive MT up to Rs. 9,99,990 for the Sportz (O) iVT and it must be noted that dual-tone options are also available.
Hyundai has also stated that more than 1.4 million i20s have hit Indian roads in the past 15 years. Commenting on the debut of new variants, Tarun Garg, Whole-Time Director and Chief Operating Officer, Hyundai Motor India Limited, said, “With the launch of the Magna Executive variant and the expansion of features in the Sportz (O) trim, we aim to make the i20 experience even more accessible and desirable for customers. These introductions reflect our commitment to democratizing premium mobility and delivering greater value to our new-age customers who seek style, safety and sophistication in their vehicles.”
