Hyundai continues selling around 50,000 cars a month in India in November with Creta continuing as its highest-selling model
Like in October, Hyundai didn’t see much deviation in its sales performance in November. As usual, the company was largely dependent on the Creta for much of its business last month. Hyundai sold 50,340 cars in India in November 2025, which marked a 4% year-over-year growth. For reference, the company had delivered 48,246 cars in November 2024. The Creta was its no.1 seller last month, recording 17,344 units, 12% more than in the same month last year.
As usual, the Venue took the second spot on Hyundai’s sales chart. The company moved 11,645 units of the sub-4 metre SUV last month, 19% more than in the same month last year (9,754 units). It recently rolled out a full model change for the Tata Nexon rival and may be ramping up production.
In the third position was the Aura, contributing 5,731 units to the total 50,340. Compared to 4,248 units sold in November 2024, the sub-4 metre sedan saw an impressive 35% growth. The Exter narrowly missed out on occupying the third spot and finished fourth with 5,705 units. Compared to November 2024 (5,747 units), the Tata Punch rival posted just 1% decline in sales.

Hyundai’s hatchbacks didn’t see great traction last month. The Grand i10 registered 4,559 units, which translates to a 20% year-over-year decline (November 2024: 5,667 units). The i20’s sales were even lower – 3,777 units, and compared to November 2024, this marked a 4% year-over-year decline.
The Alcazar was among Hyundai’s most poorly performing locally manufactured models last month. Hyundai was able to sell just 840 units of this Creta-derived three-row SUV, and this meant a whopping 61% year-over-year decline (November 2024: 2,134 units). The Verna recorded just 709 units, down 42% from November 2024 (1,213 units).

Moving to imports, the Tucson was in its runout phase and was discontinued before the middle of November. Hyundai sold only six units of the global C-segment SUV last month, marking a 93% year-over-year decline (November 2024: 84 units). Although this is a high number, it isn’t unusual when a model is discontinued. The Ioniq 5 registered 24 units, 9% more than in November 2024 (22 units).
