Mahindra Bolero & Bolero Neo Bold Editions Launched

Mahindra & Mahindra has revealed the new Bolero Neo Bold Edition and Bolero Bold Edition for the Indian market. These special editions receive a few cosmetic enhancements over the regular top-end variants, while the engine setups have been carried forward. The prices of the Bold Editions are yet to be revealed. The regular Mahindra Bolero comes in the price range of Rs 9.81 lakh – Rs 10.93 lakh, while the Bolero Neo is priced between Rs 9.97 lakh – Rs 12.18 lakh. All mentioned prices are ex-showroom.

What’s New?

The Mahindra Bolero Neo Bold Edition has a dark chrome themed exterior, black roof rails and a ‘Bold Edition’ badge on the rear fender. The dark chrome treatment on the front grille, fog lamp embellishments and spare wheel cover distinguish it from the regular model. Inside, the Bolero Neo Bold Edition gets black upholstery along with a rear-view camera. The Mahindra Bolero Bold Edition comes with the same dark chrome themed exterior, a sporty black front bumper and a black interior. The rear AC vents additionally receive dark chrome detailing.

Same Engines:

As mentioned above, no changes have been made to their engine setup. The Bolero Neo Bold Edition uses the same 74bhp, 1.5L diesel engine, paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. The Mahindra Bolero Bold Edition comes with the 98bhp, 1.5L diesel engine and a 5-speed manual transmission.

New-Gen Mahindra Bolero Launch Timeline

The home-grown automaker has confirmed the new-generation Bolero and Bolero EV for the next year. The SUV’s all-new model will be based on Mahindra’s New Flexible Architecture (NFA) platform, which is set to debut on 15th August, 2025. The new-gen Bolero is likely to receive significant design changes and feature upgrades.

Meanwhile, the company is gearing to launch the XUV3XO EV in the coming months. This subcompact EV will be followed by the XEV 7e electric 7-seater SUV towards the end of this year. It will be electric version of the XUV700, challenging the upcoming Tata Safari EV, and Hyundai Creta Electric.
