Maruti Suzuki Victoris Receives Price Reduction Of Up To Rs. 38,900

Maruti Victoris front

Maruti Suzuki has revised the pricing of the Victoris SUV for July 2026, with select variants now becoming more affordable. The maximum price reduction is Rs. 38,900 (ex-showroom), although the revision applies only to specific petrol variants.

The price cut is limited to the ZXi (O) and ZXi Plus (O) variants equipped with the naturally aspirated petrol engine. Both manual and automatic versions of these two trims receive the same reduction of Rs. 38,900. Other naturally aspirated petrol variants, including the LXi, VXi, ZXi and ZXi Plus, continue at their existing prices.

Maruti Suzuki has also left the prices of the CNG and strong hybrid variants unchanged. As a result, the revision only affects a small portion of the Victoris lineup.

The Victoris has emerged as one of Maruti Suzuki’s key SUVs since its launch last year. It currently competes in the midsize SUV segment and has established itself as one of the higher-selling models in its category.

In terms of equipment, the Victoris remains one of the most feature-rich models sold by Maruti Suzuki. Depending on the variant, it offers features such as ADAS, a powered tailgate, a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a TFT instrument cluster and an underfloor-mounted CNG tank. Some of these features are expected to be introduced in other Maruti Suzuki models in the future, although the company has not announced a timeline.

The latest price revision makes the top-spec naturally aspirated petrol variants more accessible while the rest of the Victoris range continues with existing pricing.

2026 Toyota Hilux Set To Launch In India On July 28

970x250 Range Rover Velar

2026 Toyota Hilux

Toyota is set to launch the ninth-generation Hilux in India on July 28, around eight months after the pickup truck made its global debut. The updated model is expected to bring revised styling, a refreshed cabin and additional features while retaining its body-on-frame construction.

The new Hilux is expected to continue using Toyota’s IMV platform, which also underpins the outgoing model. While the overall proportions are likely to remain familiar, the pickup is expected to receive a redesigned front fascia featuring a body-coloured honeycomb grille, slimmer LED headlamps, a revised bumper and a skid plate. Changes at the rear are expected to include updated LED tail-lamps, a revised bumper and, on some variants, ‘Toyota’ lettering replacing the traditional badge.

Inside, the ninth-generation Hilux is expected to feature a redesigned dashboard with dual 12.3-inch displays, a new steering wheel and a revised centre console. Toyota is also expected to retain physical controls for key functions. Depending on the variant, the pickup could be equipped with features such as a 360-degree camera, ventilated and powered front seats, and an advanced driver assistance system (ADAS).

Under the bonnet, the India-spec Hilux is likely to continue with the existing 2.8-litre four-cylinder diesel engine producing 204 HP and 500 Nm of torque. Transmission options are expected to include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic gearbox, with four-wheel drive continuing to be offered. Toyota could also introduce the 48V mild-hybrid system already available on the Fortuner Neo Drive, although this has not been confirmed.

Globally, Toyota has also unveiled an all-electric Hilux featuring a 59.2 kWh battery pack and a dual-motor setup. However, there is no confirmation yet on whether the electric version will be introduced in the Indian market.

The updated Hilux is expected to be priced higher than the outgoing model, which is currently available at an ex-showroom price of Rs. 28.52 lakhs to Rs. 36 lakhs.
