GaadiWaadi -

Kawasaki Ninja 300

Kawasaki is offering cash discounts, free accessories and service benefits on select motorcycles from September 1 to October 31, 2026

Kawasaki has rolled out a fresh set of offers on several motorcycles in India, with benefits ranging from a Rs 2.89 lakh cash discount to free accessories and even a complimentary first service. The offers are applicable from September 1 to October 31, 2026, although the exact benefit depends on the model year and motorcycle. The biggest discount is reserved for the Ninja ZX-10R, while several other models get smaller but useful incentives.

The Ninja ZX-10R gets the headline-grabbing offer. Buyers opting for the MY26 litre-class superbike can save Rs 2.89 lakh through a cash discount. The motorcycle currently carries an ex-showroom price of Rs 20.79 lakh, making this a substantial reduction in the purchase price.

The Ninja ZX-6R gets a slightly different deal. Customers can choose between a Rs 15,000 cash discount or a free accessories kit that includes an Ohlins steering damper. Kawasaki’s scheme also includes the Ninja 1100SX, although there is no cash discount here. Instead, buyers get a free accessories package comprising a pannier kit and pannier inner bag set.

With the scheme running until October 31, buyers interested in any of these motorcycles should check the exact model year and available dealer stock before making a decision. Some of these are clearly designed to clear older inventory, which means the best deals are likely to be limited to available units.

Mahindra Vision S SUV Spied Testing Again, Launch Likely Soon

GaadiWaadi -

mahindra-vision-s-suv-spied.jpg

The boxy sub-4m SUV will sit on Mahindra’s new NU_IQ architecture and could become one of the first production models from the Vision concept family

Mahindra’s Vision S-derived compact SUV has been spotted on public roads once again with the latest test mule revealing production-oriented details beneath heavy camouflage. Mahindra previewed the Vision S concept in August 2025 as part of its NU_IQ-based SUV family and production models from the architecture are scheduled to arrive from 2027. The Vision S-based model is expected to become one of the earliest of them to reach Indian showrooms.

The new spy images show an upright front end with a tall bonnet, squared proportions and a grille made up of multiple vertical openings. The prototype carries a temporary registration plate and extensive camouflage across the fascia, bumper and body panels. Its basic stance stays close to the concept with prominent wheel arches and a tall greenhouse. The road-going model, however, looks less exaggerated than the original show car.

The rear provides an even better indication of the SUV’s production character. A full-size spare wheel sits on the tailgate giving the test mule a tougher appearance and consolidating its visual link with Mahindra’s traditional SUV range. The rear window has a near-vertical layout and slim vertical lamp units sit near the outer edges. The squared tailgate and short rear overhang also other highlights besides a compact footprint.

Mahindra Vision S (2)

The NU_IQ monocoque architecture supports sub-4m SUVs and has been developed for front-wheel-drive and all-wheel-drive configurations along with right-hand-drive and left-hand-drive layouts. It can accommodate combustion, hybrid and electric powertrains. The Vision S-based SUV is expected to measure under four metres in length with reports pointing to a wheelbase of about 2,665 mm.

Test mules point towards an ICE derivative with diesel and manual gearbox combinations among the possibilities under evaluation. Mahindra could also draw from powertrains already available elsewhere in its compact SUV portfolio as it could share a lot with the XUV 3XO. The flexibility of NU_IQ also leaves scope for additional electrified derivatives at a later stage.

Mahindra Vision S
Representational

The original Vision S concept previewed a distinctly boxy interpretation of a compact Mahindra SUV with a high bonnet, squared wheel arches, chunky lower body protection and an upright stance. The production prototype retains much of that basic silhouette but several concept-car details have been toned down to a point where it could be considered as baby Scorpio N. Recent test sightings have also pointed to projector-style headlamps and front camera hardware.

Royal Enfield Continental GT-R 750 Spotted Testing Again, Launch Soon

GaadiWaadi -

Royal-Enfield-Continental-GT-R-750-Spied-2.jpg

Royal Enfield Continental GT-R 750 faired cafe racer has been spotted on public roads again as the brand prepares its new 750 cc platform for India and overseas markets

Royal Enfield has once again been spotted testing the upcoming Continental GT-R 750 on public roads as it offers another look at one of the first motorcycles expected from the company’s new 750 cc programme. Internally codenamed R1E, the motorcycle is expected to debut before the end of this calendar year. The GT-R will sit above the Continental GT 650 and introduce a faired cafe racer to Royal Enfield’s growing middleweight lineup.

The latest test motorcycle carries substantial camouflage around the front and central bodywork but its overall layout is already evident. The prototype has a compact front fairing wrapped around the headlamp area, clip-on handlebars and a cafe racer-ish riding posture. A sculpted fuel tank and relatively low front end further separate it from Royal Enfield’s roadsters.

The rear section seen on the test mule looks compact with a broad rear tyre, twin shock absorbers and twin exhaust outlets positioned low on either side. The test prototype also shows development work taking place in regular traffic with the motorcycle carrying temporary registration plates and extensive camouflage across key body panels as it gets closer to its global debut.

Royal-Enfield-Continental-GT-R-750-Spied.jpg

At the centre of the GT-R will be Royal Enfield’s new 750 cc engine platform, internally referred to as ‘R’. The parallel-twin motor will draw heavily from the existing 648 cc engine that powers the Continental GT 650 and other 650 cc models. The current 648 cc unit develops 47 hp and 52.3 Nm and the larger engine is expected to deliver higher power and torque figures in the region of 55 hp and 60 Nm.

The additional capacity should give the GT-R 750 stronger acceleration and a higher top speed than the existing Continental GT 650. The motorcycle is also expected to weigh more due to the larger engine, fairing and additional hardware. Royal Enfield could add new electronic rider aids as part of the step up in positioning as a TFT instrument console, connectivity features, turn-by-turn navigation, traction control, ride modes, ride-by-wire throttle are likely.

Royal-Enfield-Continental-GT-R-750-Spied-1.jpg

The test motorcycle also gives away dual disc brakes at the front while a dual-channel ABS system will be standard. The Continental GT-R 750 will be part of a larger group of motorcycles based on Royal Enfield’s new 750 cc architecture for domestic and international markets as the Himalayan 750 is also in the works. We expect it to be available in an expansive range as spoke and alloy wheels, Bear 650 like sportier elements and the one sharing a lot with existing GT 650 are of high possibility.

Hyundai Venue, Venue N Line Get Bluelink Remote Immobiliser Via OTA Update

GaadiWaadi -

Hyundai-Venue-Venue-N-Line-Get-Bluelink-Remote-Immobiliser-Via-OTA-Update-1.jpg

The new connected security feature lets owners remotely block vehicle restart through the Bluelink app and will reach more Hyundai models later

Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has introduced Bluelink Remote Immobiliser for the Venue HX10 and Venue N Line N10 variants equipped with the connected car Navigation Cockpit system. The feature reaches eligible vehicles through a Controller Over-the-Air update, so a workshop visit is not required. All compatible Venue and Venue N Line units sold since November 2025 qualify for the update and Hyundai will offer the feature as standard on these variants from September 2026.

The system lets owners remotely immobilise a parked vehicle through the Bluelink app. Once activated, the vehicle cannot restart without authorisation. In a suspected theft case, the owner can activate the immobiliser even if it was not switched on before parking. The system cannot shut down a vehicle in motion. Once the ignition is switched off, another start is blocked until authorised through Bluelink.

Live location tracking can help the owner and law enforcement locate the vehicle when network connectivity is available. Hyundai says the feature also addresses theft scenarios involving key cloning where an unauthorised duplicate key could otherwise permit a restart. Operation depends on uninterrupted vehicle power, intact wiring and network availability – all of which are listed as conditions for the feature to function correctly.

Hyundai-Venue-Venue-N-Line-Get-Bluelink-Remote-Immobiliser-Via-OTA-Update.jpg

The Remote Immobiliser reaches compatible cars through Hyundai’s Software-Defined Vehicle architecture. Eligible Venue and Venue N Line variants can accept software updates across up to 19 vehicle controllers. Hyundai refers to this capability as Controller Over-the-Air or C-OTA. The same architecture will support new functions and software revisions on compatible vehicles without requiring a dealership visit.

Hyundai currently has more than eight lakh Bluelink-connected vehicles in India. The connected platform offers more than 70 functions across 11 of the company’s 15 models including SOS assistance, crash notifications, remote vehicle status, Hyundai Pay, Digital Key, Digital Passport and Find My Car through the side-view monitor. Select models also support up to 492 AI-powered voice commands and multilingual interfaces.

New Hyundai Venue N Line

The Venue HX10 and Venue N Line N10 become Hyundai’s first mass-market models in India to receive Remote Immobiliser through C-OTA. The Ioniq 5 already supports the feature. Hyundai plans to introduce the technology across select existing Bluelink-equipped vehicles in stages and include it in upcoming connected models – subject to the required hardware and software compatibility.

The new security function consolidates Hyundai’s connected car package through a direct anti-theft tool that eligible owners can access from the Bluelink app. Users can block a restart after the ignition is switched off and track the vehicle when network conditions permit. The update also demonstrates the practical role of C-OTA as compatible vehicles can receive new controller-level functions after purchase without a physical visit to the workshop.

Kia Carens CNG, Clavis CNG & Carnival Hybrid Pre-Bookings Open In India

GaadiWaadi -

kia-carnival-hybrid-limousine-1.jpg

The Kia Carens and Clavis gain factory-fitted CNG options and the Carnival Limousine adds a 1.6-litre turbo hybrid powertrain

Kia India has opened pre-bookings for the Carens CNG, Carens Clavis CNG and Carnival Limousine Hybrid through its authorised dealer network. Prices for all three models will be announced soon. The Carens and Clavis add factory-fitted CNG setups based on their 1.5-litre petrol engines and the Carnival introduces a hybrid option based on a 1.6-litre turbo petrol engine with a six-speed automatic transmission.

The Carens CNG and Carens Clavis CNG feature a factory-fitted system with a CNG tank capacity of 60 litres. Kia has also specified CNG-specific engine calibration and revised suspension settings for both models. A dedicated fuel change switch is standard alongside a 4.2-inch colour TFT MID with CNG distance-to-empty readout.

The third-row seat back frame has also been modified to improve the recline angle. The Carens CNG will be available in the Premium (O) G1.5 6 MT trim for private customers. Kia will offer an M-Drive G1.5 6 MT version through its B2B and commercial mobility programme. The Carens Clavis CNG will reach showrooms in HTE and HTE (O) G1.5 6 MT trims and an HTM G1.5 6 MT specification has been listed for B2B applications.

kia carens clavis cng

Model Variant Powertrain
Carens CNG Premium (O) 1.5 petrol + CNG, 6MT
Carens CNG B2B M-Drive 1.5 petrol + CNG, 6MT
Carens Clavis CNG HTE / HTE (O) 1.5 petrol + CNG, 6MT
Carens Clavis CNG B2B HTM 1.5 petrol + CNG, 6MT
Carnival Limousine Hybrid Limousine+ 1.6 turbo petrol hybrid, 6AT

Both CNG models ride on 16-inch wheels and feature 16-inch disc brakes. The CNG setup is good enough to produce a maximum power output of 96 PS and 123 Nm of peak torque – about 21 PS and 22 Nm lesser than the regular petrol version. The powertrain also retains a 45-litre petrol tank.

The brand has updated the suspension too and the front disc brakes have also been revised while the spare wheel has been carried over. The CNG tank takes up 100 litres of boot space and thus, the capacity is reduced by 100 litres – from 216 litres to 116 litres. The Carnival Limousine Hybrid will be offered exclusively in Limousine+ specification with the 6 AT and 1.6-litre turbo petrol combination. The hybrid derivative adds 18-inch crystal cut dual-tone aero alloy wheels, active air flaps and a virtual engine sound system to the equipment package.

The rear cabin equipment on the Carnival Hybrid includes a smart pure air purifier with AQI display and retractable, height-adjustable seat-back tables equipped with wireless charging. Kia has also listed monotone ambient lighting, integrated cup holders and leatherette wrapped door trims. The additional equipment places particular emphasis on the second-row area of the Limousine+ specification.
