New Hyundai Venue (3)

New gen Hyundai Venue comprises notable changes inside and out and it will continue to be offered with three engine choices

Hyundai has officially kicked off bookings for the all-new Venue ahead of its launch slated for November 4. The compact SUV has already cemented itself as one of Hyundai’s best-selling models in India having surpassed seven lakh units in cumulative sales. It features a revised exterior and interior along with the addition of new features and tech.

The brand has opened bookings for the new-gen Venue with an initial payment of Rs 25,000. The refreshed SUV immediately impresses with a more muscular stance, now measuring 48 mm taller and 30 mm wider than the previous generation, creating a noticeably roomier cabin for passengers with increased wheelbase too.

The exterior gains a dark chrome grille, horizon LED light bars at the front and rear, quad-beam LED headlamps and pronounced wheel arches. Details like the in-glass ‘Venue’ emblem, sculpted side panels and bridge-style roof rails further accentuate its SUV character. The cabin has been completely reworked with a H-theme layout, dual-tone Dark Navy and Dove Grey upholstery and a terrazzo-textured dash.

The Venue’s cabin has been designed for ease of use with scooped seatbacks and wider door openings. Passengers benefit from two-step reclining rear seats, rear AC vents, window sunshades and an electric 4-way adjustable driver seat. All variants fall under the new “HX” nomenclature – ranging from HX2 at the entry level up to HX10 at the top of the line.

A key highlight of the new Venue is the dual 12.3-inch curved panoramic displays – one serving as the infotainment hub and the other as a fully digital instrument cluster. Complementing this setup are ambient lighting, a floating centre console along with a new three-spoke steering wheel.

The complete monotone range features Hazel Blue, Mystic Sapphire, Atlas White, Titan Grey, Dragon Red, and Abyss Black. Dual-tone choices consist of Hazel Blue with Abyss Black and Atlas White with Abyss Black roofs.

The 2025 Venue will carry forward three powertrain options: an 84 PS 1.2-litre MPi naturally aspirated petrol, a 110 PS 1.0-litre turbocharged GDi petrol, and a 115 PS 1.5-litre CRDi diesel engine. Drivers can pair these with a six-speed manual, a six-speed torque-converter automatic or a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
