The Land Cruiser FJ is the new entry-level models in the Toyota’s LC range; Available only with a 2.7-litre petrol engine
Toyota Motor Corporation has finally taken the wraps off the all-new Land Cruiser FJ. The newest addition to the legendary Land Cruiser nameplate will go on sale in Japan around mid-2026, followed by other key markets. The FJ Cruiser sits below the LC 250 Series, making it the most affordable model in the Land Cruiser line-up.
To begin with, the Land Cruiser FJ sports a boxy silhouette, in line with the latest models in the LC line-up. Upfront, a small rectangular grille is flanked by a set of LED headlamp with C-sharped DRLs. The option of classic round headlamps will be offered as a part of the brand’s customization package, depending on the market and region.
The new SUV gets hefty front and rear bumpers, which are segmented type, allowing for easy replacements in case of damage. Towards the side, it gets a prominent shoulder line and beefy side body cladding, along with blacked-out roof rails. The rear profile sports a tailgate mounted spare wheel and vertically stacked tail lamps.

Overall, the layout seems quite familiar to the Land Cruiser 250.
Talking about the dimensions, the Land Cruiser FJ measures 4,575 mm long, 1,855 mm wide and 1,960 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,580 mm. Its wheelbase is 270 mm shorter than the Land Cruiser 250 Series. Toyota is yet to reveal the full specifications of the new SUV.

As per the information revealed by Toyota, the Land Cruiser FJ will be powered by a 2.7-litre 2TR-FE four-cylinder petrol engine, putting out 161 bhp and 246 Nm of peak torque. It is mated to a 6-speed Super ECT automatic gearbox.
The power is channelled to all the four wheels via a part-time four-wheel drive system. Toyota will officially unveil the Land Cruiser FJ at its booth at Japan Mobility Show 2025, which is scheduled to start from October 30.
