As expected, the month of September 2025 has turned out to be an auspicious one for Mahindra across different segments with its passenger utility vehicles driving majority of the growth. The homegrown manufacturer’s domestic SUV dispatches hit a total of 56,233 units – leading to a 10 per cent jump over the same month last year.

The year-to-date numbers for April to September stood at 2,97,570 units – resulting in a healthy 14 per cent rise compared to the same period in the last financial year. The commercial vehicle portfolio has witnessed a roller coaster ride as LCVs (Light Commercial Vehicles) under two tonnes slipped slightly by 2 per cent to 3,386 units last month.

However, the 2 to 3.5 tonne range surged 21 per cent – recording a tally of 23,342 units. Over the six months period, smaller LCVs fell 12 per cent but the larger segment grew 12 per cent in contrary to 1,14,176 units.
