2026 MG Hector gets notable cosmetic updates and interior changes while no performance revisions have been made

The 2026 MG Hector facelift is offered in multiple trims for buyers opting for the five-seat layout with petrol powertrain available across both manual and CVT options. Entry-level pricing starts at Rs. 11.99 lakh for the Style variant paired with a 1.5-litre petrol manual. The Select Pro and Smart Pro trims follow at Rs. 13.99 lakh and Rs. 14.99 lakh respectively while the Sharp Pro manual sits higher at Rs. 16.79 lakh.

For those preferring an automatic, MG offers the CVT gearbox on higher trims. The Smart Pro CVT is priced at Rs. 16.29 lakh, the Sharp Pro CVT comes in at Rs. 18.09 lakh and the fully loaded Savvy Pro CVT tops the five-seat range at Rs. 18.99 lakh (all prices ex-showroom). The updated three-row MG Hector Plus is positioned slightly above the standard version.

The seven-seat Sharp Pro with a manual gearbox is priced at Rs. 17.29 lakh. Buyers choosing the CVT automatic can opt for the Sharp Pro at Rs. 18.59 lakh while the Savvy Pro CVT stands as the flagship trim at Rs. 19.49 lakh (ex-showroom). On the outside, the facelifted Hector adopts a more commanding stance. The front gains newly designed chrome-heavy grille featuring a hexagonal pattern paired with redesigned bumpers that visually widen the SUV.

New alloy wheel designs further elevate its muscular proportions while additions like roof rails and a rear spoiler maintain its SUV character. MG has also expanded the colour palette by introducing Celadon Blue and Pearl White. On the inside, the five-seat versions feature a dual-tone Ice Grey theme while six- and seven-seat models get an Urban Tan interior.

Hydra gloss accents with hydrophobic black-blue inserts up the premium appeal further. The dashboard continues to be dominated by the 14-inch HD portrait touchscreen – now supported by faster processing hardware. The Hector facelift uses the familiar 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine producing 143 PS and 250 Nm of torque. Transmission choices include a six-speed manual and a CVT automatic.
