Kia Syros HTK(EX) variant gains features such as LED DRLs, LED headlamps and tail lamps, 16-inch alloys wheels and 20+ safety features
Responding to market demand and customer insights, Kia India has expanded its Syros portfolio by launching the HTK(EX) variant. The new addition consolidates the lineup to seven variants and the automaker has positioned it at Rs. 9,89,000 for the petrol version and Rs. 10,63,900 (both prices, ex-showroom) for the diesel option.
The HTK(EX) variant distinguishes itself through exterior enhancements. Built upon the HTK(O) grade, the new HTK(EX) trim incorporates LED daytime running lights, LED headlamps and LED tail-lamps alongside a set of 16-inch alloy wheels. It also features a comprehensive protection suite exceeding 20 safety elements.
Standard equipment includes six airbags, Anti-lock Braking System with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution, Electronic Stability Control, Hill Start Assist, and Vehicle Stability Management. The variant boasts an electric sunroof, flush-type door handles and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with connectivity choices.

Additional equipment includes electrically adjustable and foldable outside rearview mirrors that are complemented by a rear parking camera integrated with proximity sensors. Expanding customer choice, Kia has made the HTK(EX) available with diesel powertrain options. The Syros is underpinned by the K1 platform and is high on practical bits like interior and boot space.
The overall design is based on Kia’s “Opposites United” philosophy. The Syros also achieved a 5-star BNCAP safety rating a while ago. Commenting on the expansion of the range, Atul Sood, Sr. VP and National Head, Sales and Marketing, Kia India, said: “At Kia, customer insights guide every product decision we make. The introduction of the HTK(EX) trim for Syros reflects our constant focus on responding to customer feedback and delivering meaningful value,”
Recently, Kia introduced the HTE (EX) trim of the IC-engined Carens Clavis as well with the key upgrade being a sunroof in the naturally aspirated 1.5-litre four-cylinder petrol powertrain for the first time. It is available across all internal combustion engine options including the 1.5L petrol, 1.5L turbo petrol and 1.5L diesel. Its prices start at Rs. 12,54,900 for the 1.5L petrol, Rs. 13,41,900 for the turbo petrol and Rs. 14,52,900 for the diesel (all prices, ex-showroom).
