Maruti Suzuki is said to be working on a product offensive through 2026 and into 2027 with plans to step into new segments and consolidate its existing portfolio. The upcoming range could feature an all-new electric MPV, an updated Fronx to support flex-fuel compatibility and a mid-cycle revision for one of its popular compact SUVs. Here’s a detailed look at what could be arriving in the near future:
1. Updated Maruti Suzuki Fronx:
The Fronx is being evaluated as a potential launchpad for the company’s flex-fuel powertrain in India. If approved, it would make the crossover the first model in the brand’s domestic range to utilise such technology. Alongside, a Level 2 ADAS suite could also be offered as in the international markets but confirmation has been made yet.
Several premium technologies and equipment options currently reserved for Southeast Asian versions could make their way to the India-spec model to capitalise on the good reception for the compact five-seater since its market debut a few years ago.

2. Maruti Suzuki Brezza facelift:
Recent spy sightings suggest that the updated Brezza is nearing its debut and the most noticeable changes are expected inside the cabin. The refreshed model will more likely gain a bigger infotainment touchscreen along with added features. The interior revisions could help the SUV stay competitive as customer expectations around technology continue to rise.
On the exterior, changes are expected to be subtle – possibly limited to minor styling tweaks and a new design for the alloy wheels. A more notable improvement, however, may come in the CNG variant where the fuel tank is expected to be relocated beneath the floor. A new six-speed MT is also in the works.

3. Maruti Suzuki YMC:
Based on the same architecture and likely battery configurations as the e Vitara, the upcoming electric MPV – internally codenamed YMC – is expected to play a central role in strengthening Maruti Suzuki’s EV range. Styling elements may draw inspiration from its SUV sibling as well.
