Kia Introduces K-Charge EV Ecosystem, Will Be Accessibe Through MyKia Application Or Website

Kia has introduced a new K-Charge EV ecosystem ahead of the launch of the Carens Clavis EV. The Carens Clavis EV will be the brand’s first electric offering in the country. K-Charge is available on the MyKia application and gives access to 11,000+ charging points across India.

The MyKia application offers smooth integration with the K-Charge platform. The charging points are available in collaboration with 18 leading Charge Point Operators (CPOs). The network supports daily commutes as well as long-distance cruising.

Kia’s EV Route Planner allows customers to locate charging points, view real-time slot availability, and make payments. This helps to simplify the experience and diminishes the need for third-party apps.

Additionally, there is also a dedicated network of 250 EV-ready workshops for assistance in need of any problem with a Kia EV. The brand has equipped more than 100 dealerships with fast DC chargers. These chargers range from 60 kW to 240 kW.

Kia already offers 7.4 kW and 11 kW AC chargers in India, enabling customers a flexible at-home charging option. The brand has also mentioned that the Carens Clavis EV will be launched via a webcast on July 15.

Updated KTM 390 Adv X & Global-Spec Enduro R Launched From Rs. 3.03 Lakh

GaadiWaadi -

2025-ktm-390-adventure-x.jpg

More features have been added to the updated 2025 KTM 390 Adventure X along with design changes while the Enduro R boasts greater off-roading capability

KTM India has introduced two new variants of its 390 Adventure range in India targetting both long distance riders and dedicated off-road enthusiasts – one is the updated Adventure X and the other is the much awaited 390 Adventure Enduro R in its global specification. The revised 390 Adventure X is priced at Rs. 3,03,125 while the new 390 Adventure Enduro R arrives at Rs. 3,53,825 (both prices, ex-showroom).

In its new form, the 390 Adventure X sees the addition of several electronic systems that were earlier exclusive to KTM’s higher-spec models. Cruise control now comes as standard offering both speed limiter and cruise functionality. New ride modes – Street, Rain, and Off-road – enable the motorcycle to adapt on the fly to changing surface conditions.

The updated trim also gets cornering ABS which maintains braking stability through lean angles along with motorcycle traction control for improved handling on loose or slippery terrain. KTM’s 390 Adventure Enduro R enters the Indian lineup as a purpose-built machine for aggressive trail use. It comes fitted with upgraded suspension equipment and draws from the brand’s Dakar-influenced experience in tackling rugged environments.

Both motorcycles continue to use the 373 cc single-cylinder DOHC liquid-cooled fuel-injected engine and are underpinned by KTM’s steel trellis frame. While the Adventure X now leans more into versatility with its added tech, the Enduro R appeals to those seeking a raw, terrain-focused machine with fewer compromises.

KTM’s decision to introduce the global-spec 390 Adventure Enduro R in India marks a notable response to earlier criticism and is Rs. 17,000 dearer than the local version which is already available for a few months now. The India-specific model has scaled down suspension travel and reduced ground clearance compared to the international configuration which features 230 mm of travel at both ends and a ground clearance of 273 mm – 19 mm higher than the domestic offering.

By contrast, the Indian version shares its suspension specs with the standard 390 Adventure, offering up to 205 mm of travel. Some of the feature highlights are a 4.1-inch colour TFT screen offering Bluetooth functionality for navigation, music and app integration. The LC4c engine produces a maximum power output of 45.3 bhp and 39 Nm of peak torque, mated to a six-speed gearbox.
