Triumph Motorcycles has revised prices across its 350 cc and 400 cc range in India with every model becoming more expensive in July 2026. The latest revision ranges from Rs. 3,000 to Rs. 10,000 as the British manufacturer updates prices just a few months after expanding its entry-level portfolio following the arrival of GST 2.0 revisions implemented late last year.

The Speed T4, Speed 400, Tracker 400, Scrambler 400 X, Scrambler 400 XC and Thruxton 400 have all received revised price tags. The Speed T4 records the biggest hike in the current round. Compared to its April 2026 launch price of Rs. 1.95 lakh, the entry-level roadster is now Rs. 14,000 more expensive.

The Speed 400 also becomes dearer but by a smaller margin. The motorcycle now costs Rs. 2.40 lakh, up from Rs. 2.34 lakh in June with a Rs. 6,000 increase. Since its April 2026 price of Rs. 2.32 lakh, the Speed 400 has become Rs. 8,000 costlier overall. Meanwhile, the Tracker 400 records the smallest revision in the range with its price rising by Rs. 3,000 from Rs. 2.46 lakh to Rs. 2.49 lakh.

TVS Apache Achieves 70 Lakh Sales Milestone In Just Over 2 Decades

GaadiWaadi -

TVS-Apache-70-lakh-sales-2.jpg

TVS Apache now has over 70 lakh customers across 90 countries as it has reiterated its popularity in local and international markets

TVS Motor Company has announced that the Apache motorcycle series has crossed the 70 lakh sales milestone globally – a little over two decades after its debut in 2005. The company also unveiled a new brand campaign titled ‘Tu Race Laga’, celebrating the journey of one of its biggest performance motorcycle brands from India. The Apache lineup is currently sold in 90 countries and has grown into one of the fastest expanding premium motorcycle families in the world.

The Apache story began with TVS’ Track to Road philosophy bringing technologies and engineering lessons from the company’s racing programme to production motorcycles. Over the last 20 years, the range has expanded across multiple segments – starting with street motorcycles before growing into supersport and adventure touring categories. The portfolio today spans engine capacities from 160 cc to 310 cc.

The Hosur-based manufacturer says Apache has played a major role in introducing several segment-first technologies over the years. These include roto-petal disc brakes, fuel injection, dual-channel ABS, multiple ride modes, TVS SmartXonnect, Glide Through Technology, Built-To-Order factory customisation, keyless ride system, traction control and dynamic stability systems.

The additions have helped the brand establish an appreciable position in India’s premium motorcycle space while expanding its global footprint. The company has also built one of the country’s largest riding communities around the Apache name. More than five lakh registered members now participate in organised rides, track sessions and brand-led activities.

TVS says these events have helped create stronger engagement among owners. To commemorate the milestone, TVS has launched the ‘Tu Race Laga’ campaign film directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Ram Madhvani. The film draws inspiration from the Apache’s Track to Road philosophy and focuses on the emotions associated with riding, racing and everyday motorcycling.

Speaking on the milestone, Vimal Sumbly, Head Business – Premium, TVS Motor Company, said, “Twenty years ago, TVS Apache was born with a singular vision  – to bring the excitement, control, and race-bred capability of the racetrack to everyday riders through our ‘Track to Road’ philosophy. Today, as we celebrate the milestone of 7 million customers globally, we are proud to see TVS Apache evolve into one of the world’s fastest-growing premium motorcycle brands and a thriving community united by a shared passion for riding.”

The Apache family currently consists of motorcycles across three categories. The street and naked lineup comprises the RTR 160, RTR 160 4V, RTR 180, RTR 200 4V and RTR 310. The RR 310 represents the supersport category while the recently introduced RTX serves as the brand’s adventure tourer.

2026 Renault Kwid Price

Renault has introduced the 2026 Kwid in India with prices starting at Rs. 4.53 lakhs (ex-showroom). The updated entry-level hatchback receives a handful of cosmetic revisions, a simplified variant lineup and revised pricing, while retaining its existing powertrain and feature set.

The 2026 Kwid is now offered in two variants — Evolution and Climber — with both 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT gearbox options. Renault has also discontinued the earlier Authentic and Techno variants as part of the update.

2026 Renault Kwid Price

Evolution MT – Rs. 4.53 lakhs
Evolution AMT – Rs. 4.90 lakhs
Climber MT – Rs. 5.15 lakhs
Climber AMT – Rs. 5.61 lakhs

All prices, ex-showroom

While the new base price is Rs. 22,000 higher than the outgoing entry-level Authentic variant, the Evolution and Climber trims are now priced lower than their respective predecessors by up to Rs. 14,000 and Rs. 32,000.

Renault is also offering a dealer-fitted CNG kit for manual variants at an additional cost of Rs. 70,450. The CNG conversion will be carried out through authorised workshops and is backed by a standard warranty of three years or 1 lakh km, whichever comes first.

The visual updates are limited but noticeable. The 2026 Kwid receives new three-dimensional Renault badges, revised dual-tone wheel covers for its 14-inch steel wheels and updated tailgate lettering finished in silver.

Apart from these changes, the hatchback retains its existing design, including the LED daytime running lights, halogen headlamps, front and rear bumpers and halogen tail lamps.

Inside, the most notable change is a redesigned three-spoke steering wheel borrowed from the Renault Kiger. It incorporates integrated controls for the infotainment system.

The rest of the cabin layout remains familiar. Equipment includes an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wired Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a semi-digital instrument cluster, manual air conditioning, all four power windows and black fabric upholstery with yellow accents.

Safety features vary depending on the variant. The Evolution trim comes with dual airbags, while the Climber gets six airbags. Other features include:

– Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)
– Rear parking camera with parking sensors
– ABS with EBD
– Seatbelt reminders
– Keyless entry with central locking
– Hill start assist on AMT variants

The 2026 Kwid continues with the same 1.0-litre, three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 69 HP and 92.5 Nm of torque. Transmission choices include a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 5-speed AMT.

Alongside the Kwid launch, Renault outlined its roadmap for the Indian market. The company plans to introduce 12 product-related updates over the next 18 months, including model refreshes, limited editions, technology upgrades, powertrain revisions and new vehicle launches. Renault says four of these initiatives are scheduled for the remainder of 2026.

The Kwid continues to compete in the entry-level hatchback segment against rivals such as the Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 and Maruti Suzuki S-Presso.

Skoda Kodiaq RS Launched In India, Priced At Rs. 66.99 Lakhs

Skoda Kodiaq RS India

Skoda Auto India has announced the price of the Kodiaq RS, with the performance-focused SUV available at Rs. 66.99 lakhs (ex-showroom). Imported as a completely built unit (CBU), the RS becomes the most expensive variant in the Kodiaq lineup and commands a premium of Rs. 20 lakh over the locally assembled Selection L&K trim.

The company also confirmed that the initial allocation of 50 units for India was fully booked within six minutes of reservations opening on June 22. Skoda has not yet announced whether additional units will be made available.

The Kodiaq RS is powered by Volkswagen Group’s EA888 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo-petrol engine, producing 265 HP and 400 Nm of torque. Compared to the standard Kodiaq, this represents an increase of 61 HP and 80 Nm.

Power is sent to all four wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DSG). Skoda claims the SUV can accelerate from 0-100 km/hr in 6.3 seconds, making it the quickest Skoda model launched in India to date.

The RS also receives chassis upgrades, including Dynamic Chassis Control (DCC Plus) adaptive suspension with 15 selectable damping settings, along with progressive steering, which varies the steering ratio depending on steering input.

Visually, the Kodiaq RS features a more aggressive appearance than the standard model. It gets redesigned front and rear bumpers, RS badges, 20-inch alloy wheels, a larger roof spoiler and dual stainless-steel exhaust outlets.

Gloss black exterior elements include the front grille, roof rails, window surrounds, ORVMs and D-pillar trim. Buyers can choose from Velvet Red, Magic Black, Moon White and Steel Grey exterior colours.

Inside, the cabin receives RS-specific styling with red contrast stitching on the seats, dashboard and steering wheel, along with RS embossing on the seats and metallic-finish dashboard inserts.

The equipment list includes a 12.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, panoramic sunroof, three-zone climate control, electrically adjustable front seats with ventilation, heating, massage, memory and thigh support functions, as well as a 13-speaker Canton audio system.

Safety features include nine airbags, a 360-degree camera and an ADAS suite.

The Skoda Kodiaq RS enters the market as a rival to the Volkswagen Tayron R-Line. While the Volkswagen is assembled locally and offered at a significantly lower price point, the Kodiaq RS differentiates itself with higher engine output and additional performance-oriented hardware such as adaptive suspension.

All-New Toyota Hilux To Launch Later This Month In India – Key Details

GaadiWaadi -

2026 Toyota Hilux 1.jpg

Toyota’s lifestyle pickup, the Hilux, is heading for India with a thoroughly revised exterior, upgraded cabin and a 48-volt diesel powertrain in its upcoming avatar

Toyota is set to introduce the new generation Hilux in India on July 28 ushering in the biggest overhaul for the lifestyle pickup since its arrival in the domestic market. While the ladder-frame DNA remains untouched, almost every major area has received attention. It ranges from a completely redesigned front fascia and an all-new dashboard to chassis revisions and electrified diesel power.

Mechanical changes form a significant part of the update. Toyota has reworked the IMV ladder-frame architecture with revisions to deliver better composure on broken roads without compromising the pickup’s off-road credentials. Payload capacity remains close to one tonne while the Hilux retains its 3.5-tonne towing capability. A 700 mm water-wading depth and generous ground clearance are other highlights.

Powertrain duties are expected to be handled by Toyota’s familiar 2.8-litre four-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine working in tandem with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system in select versions. Producing 204 PS and 500 Nm, the diesel unit will continue to work alongside a six-speed automatic transmission. The addition of mild-hybrid assistance is expected to offer smoother low-speed operation, quicker throttle response and better fuel economy.

The cabin has undergone an equally comprehensive transformation. Borrowing inspiration from Toyota’s latest Land Cruiser range, the dashboard gains a more passenger vehicle-like layout centred around large digital displays replacing conventional instrumentation. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, connected vehicle functions, ventilated front seats, a panoramic camera system and an expanded suite of driver assistance technologies are all likely.

Visual changes are concentrated around the front half of the pickup. Sleek LED lighting units, a black trim panel spanning the width of the fascia and bold Toyota branding replace the traditional grille layout. The profile gains squarer wheel arches, a stronger shoulder line and sharper body contours lending the pickup a tougher stance than the outgoing model.

The upcoming pickup measures 5,320 mm in length, 1,885 mm in width and 1,815 mm in height while the 3,085 mm wheelbase continues to support its spacious cabin and cargo bed. International markets have already received an all-electric Hilux fitted with a 59.2 kWh battery pack and dual electric motors but Toyota is not expected to introduce that derivative in India.

The updated Hilux will help consolidate Toyota’s presence in India’s lifestyle pickup category where it has built a reputation already.

Lamborghini Urus SE Performante Unveiled With 801 BHP Hybrid Power

Lamborghini Urus SE Performante

Lamborghini has introduced the Urus SE Performante, a more performance-oriented version of its plug-in hybrid luxury SUV. Positioned above the standard Urus SE, the new model receives increased power, reduced weight, revised aerodynamics and multiple chassis enhancements, making it the most powerful and quickest Urus produced to date.

The Urus SE Performante is powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine paired with a permanent-magnet electric motor. The plug-in hybrid system produces a combined output of 801 BHP and 1000 Nm of torque, with power delivered to all four wheels through an 8-speed automatic transmission.

According to Lamborghini, the SUV accelerates from 0-100 km/hr in 3.3 seconds, reaches 200 km/hr in 10.8 seconds, and has a top speed of 312 km/hr.

The hybrid system is supported by a 25.9 kWh battery pack, enabling an electric-only driving range of over 60 km, depending on driving conditions.

Compared to the standard Urus SE, the Performante is 32 kg lighter, reducing kerb weight to 2473 kg. Lamborghini attributes the weight reduction to the extensive use of carbon-fibre components, including the bonnet, roof, wheel arches, side skirts and rear diffuser. A titanium Akrapovic exhaust also contributes to the lower weight by saving more than 10 kg.

The exterior has been revised with a new carbon-fibre bonnet featuring a raised centre section, larger front air intakes, a redesigned bumper, a larger rear spoiler and a more prominent rear diffuser. The SUV also rides on newly designed 23-inch alloy wheels.

Lamborghini states that the aerodynamic revisions reduce drag by 3 percent, while increasing downforce by 23 percent. Brake cooling efficiency has also been improved by 8 percent through updated airflow management and revised cooling ducts.

Inside, the Urus SE Performante retains Lamborghini’s driver-focused layout while introducing new materials and trim finishes. The cabin features CorsaTex by Dinamica microfiber upholstery, carbon-fibre detailing and red contrast accents.

A pair of 12.3-inch displays serve as the digital instrument cluster and infotainment system, with the software interface drawing inspiration from the Revuelto. The SUV also gets a redesigned steering wheel and an optional telemetry system intended for track use.

The Urus SE Performante debuts Lamborghini’s new Aura dual-chamber air suspension, which the company says reduces body roll by 55 percent and lowers cabin vibrations by 25 percent compared to the previous Urus Performante.

Additional mechanical changes include a wider track, upgraded brakes and improved stopping performance from 200 kmph, which Lamborghini claims is 12 percent better than before.

A new Rally driving mode has also been added for gravel and loose-surface driving. It joins the existing Strada, Sport, Corsa and EV modes, along with selectable hybrid operating settings.

With its combination of increased performance, revised chassis hardware and lightweight construction, the Urus SE Performante expands Lamborghini’s high-performance SUV lineup while retaining the practicality of a plug-in hybrid powertrain.
