Kawasaki India has announced the launch of the Versys X-300 for a price tag of Rs. 3.80 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) and is available in two colour schemes namely Candy Lime Green Type 3/Metallic Flat Spark Black and Metallic Ocean Blue/Pearl Robotic White. It rivals RE Himalayan 450, KTM 390 Adventure and Yezdi Adventure.
Powering the 2025 Kawasaki Versys X-300 is a 296 cc parallel-twin engine that delivers a maximum output of 40 PS at a peak of 11,500 rpm. Torque delivery is rated at 26.0 Nm and is achieved at 10,000 rpm, giving the lightweight adventure motorcycle a free revving character that aligns well with its long-distance and off-road intentions.
The CO2 emissions are recorded at 103 grams per kilometre and fuel efficiency stands at a claimed 4.1 litres per 100 kilometres. Kawasaki pairs this motor to a six-speed return-type gearbox. The motorcycle features a high-tensile steel backbone frame and it weighs in at 179 kilograms with all fluids and its fuel tank can hold up to 17 litres.

Seat height is measured at 815 mm, giving it a fairly approachable saddle for an adv. Suspension hardware comprises a 41 mm telescopic fork at the front with 130 mm of travel while the rear employs Kawasaki’s bottom-link Uni-Trak system combined with a gas-charged shock absorber. Rear suspension travel is slightly more generous at 148 mm and preload adjustability is available.
The wheelbase extends to 1,450 mm and the trail measures 108 mm. Ground clearance stands at 180 mm, supporting moderate off-tarmac capabilities. Braking equipment includes a 290 mm front petal disc coupled with a dual-piston calliper featuring balanced actuation. At the rear, a 220 mm petal disc is gripped by another dual-piston setup.

The 2025 Kawasaki Versys X-300 rides on a 100/90-19 front tyre and a 130/80-17 rear. As for the physical footprint, the Versys X-300 measures 2,170 mm in overall length, 860 mm in width and 1,390 mm in height. Steering angle to either side is 40 degrees, aiding low-speed manoeuvrability. Altogether, the motorcycle remains positioned as Kawasaki’s most accessible entry into the adventure touring space.
