Maruti Suzuki is preparing to bring in a host of new models over the next three years. The upcoming range will comprise a number of new SUVs and here we have listed the possible upcoming ones.
1. Maruti Suzuki e Vitara:
The e Vitara will become Maruti Suzuki’s first electric car upon arrival around September and it will be sold in two battery options through the Nexa dealerships. It will boast a range of more than 500 km between charges and will support fast charging too. Based on the e Heartect platform, it will give rise to a Toyota sibling and will be rolled out of SMC’s Gujarat plant.
Suzuki has huge plans with it as it will also be shipped to several international markets. The Maruti Suzuki e Vitara will be packed with features such as a large touchscreen display, all-digital instrumentation, panoramic sunroof, six airbags, automatic climate control, drive modes and a lot more.
2. Maruti Suzuki Fronx Hybrid:
Maruti Suzuki appears to be preparing a new iteration of the Fronx with a debut likely in the near future. A recent sighting of a camouflaged test prototype has added to the buzz, particularly due to the presence of a hybrid emblem on the tailgate – hinting at the possible addition of a fuel-efficient electrified powertrain which could be the one found in the Dzire smart hybrid sold in global markets.
3. Maruti Suzuki Escudo:
As we exclusively revealed a while ago, Maruti Suzuki is working on a brand new 5-seater SUV which will sit below the Grand Vitara and it will be sold through Arena dealerships.
