Hero MotoCorp July 2025 dispatches led to 21 per cent growth as Vida posted all-time high sales volumes in India
Hero MotoCorp posted strong numbers in July 2025 dispatching 4,49,755 two-wheelers across domestic and export markets with a 21 per cent rise compared to July 2024. VAHAN retail registrations for the month stood at 3,39,827 units. With the festive season nearing, the company expects surge in volume figures heading into the next quarter.
In the electric vehicle space, Hero’s Vida brand delivered its best-ever monthly performance. Dispatches stood at 11,226 units while VAHAN data recorded 10,489 registrations. Market share in the electric segment climbed to 10.2 per cent year-on-year – highlighting increasing acceptance of the company’s EV offerings. The recently introduced VX2 appears to have struck the right chord and is also offered via Battery-as-a-Service scheme.
Scooter volumes saw a boost on the back of demand for the Xoom 125 and Destini 125. These models contributed to a gain in segment share during the month. In the motorcycle category, the entry-level HF Deluxe Pro was launched, positioned to appeal to budget conscious consumers through updated styling and added features.

Hero’s global operations continued their upward run – posting sales of 37,358 units in July. The overseas total reflects a strong 64 per cent jump over July 2024 figures. The good numbers come amid growing interest in Hero-branded motorcycles in Latin America, Africa and Southeast Asia. Looking at the fiscal year-to-date (April to July 2025), motorcycle dispatches totalled 16,74,526 units while scooters contributed 1,42,299 units.
Combined two-wheeler volumes during the period stood at 18,16,825 units. Domestic dispatches accounted for 17,15,054 units with exports making up the remaining 1,01,771 units. While total volumes are trailing slightly compared to the same period last year, month-on-month momentum shows a clear trend in positive direction.

As Hero MotoCorp moves into the second half of the fiscal, the emphasis remains on strengthening rural network penetration and increasing availability. The bookings for the Xoom 160 began only a few days ago.
