2024 Hyundai Bayon Facelift_-3

Here we have listed the 5 upcoming Hyundai cars that are all pumped to be introduced in the 2026 calendar year as the brand looks to up the ante

Hyundai has been facing competition in multiple segments from homegrown manufacturers like Tata and Mahindra. In the compact SUV space, the Korean brand looks to strengthen its stance alongside the Venue in 2026 with the arrival of a compact electric vehicle, Bayon and updated Exter while the facelifted Verna and new Ioniq 5 are also likely. Here is all the dope:

1. Hyundai Compact EV:

Hyundai could take inspiration from the Inster EV for its first comprehensively localised zero-emission compact offering for India. It is expected to be positioned aggressively against Tata Punch EV and forthcoming Mahindra XUV 3XO EV. To be available with two battery options, it could provide a claimed range of over 400 km between charges.

2. Hyundai Bayon:

The global Bayon based compact crossover appears to be on its way for late 2026 and it could be equipped with a brand new 1.2L turbo petrol mill alongside borrowing powertrains from the Venue. It will likely take on the likes of Maruti Suzuki Fronx and Mahindra Vision X based crossover.

Spotted testing multiple times already, the facelifted Hyundai Verna will arrive in the coming months and it will receive a slew of enhancements inside and out. However, the powertrain and transmission choices could be carried over. The cabin will gain more features from the latest Creta and Alcazar, and it could help revive volumes in the midsize sedan segment.

The updated Ioniq 5 brings mild exterior revisions such as redesigned bumpers, a refreshed grille treatment and newly styled alloy wheels while the cabin layout has been revised to include a greater number of physical controls along with a redesigned three-spoke steering wheel. Battery capacity has also been increased across the range globally and thus the 84 kWh unit could arrive to India in early 2026.
