The new Kylaq Sportline adds blacked-out exterior elements, a darker cabin and is available with both manual and automatic gearboxes
Skoda Auto India has expanded the Kylaq range with the new Sportline variant, adding a sportier and more distinctive look to its best-selling SUV. Priced from Rs 11.32 lakh (ex-showroom), the Sportline becomes the seventh variant of the Kylaq and is positioned as the more style-focused version of the compact SUV.
The visual changes are fairly easy to spot. The Kylaq Sportline gets Deep Black ORVMs, glossy black front and rear diffusers, a Deep Black dual-tone floating roof and 17-inch black alloy wheels. The tailgate also gets black branding, while a Sportline badge, rear spoiler with finlets and C-pillar graphics complete the look. LED projector headlamps are part of the package as well.
The same theme continues inside. The cabin gets a darker treatment across the roof, dashboard and door trims, along with leatherette seats carrying Sportline branding and contrast stitching. Aluminium pedals, ambient lighting, wireless charging and an electric sunroof are also part of the package. The SUV gets Skoda’s 25.6cm touchscreen infotainment system and 20.32cm Virtual Cockpit, while Climatronic automatic AC adds another touch of everyday convenience.

There are no mechanical changes to the Kylaq Sportline. It continues with Skoda’s 1.0-litre TSI turbo-petrol engine, paired with either a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic gearbox. The press release doesn’t specify a different tune for the Sportline, so the power and torque figures remain the same as the standard Kylaq.
Safety continues to be a major part of the package. The Kylaq retains its 5-star Bharat NCAP rating and six airbags, along with the broader suite of active and passive safety equipment offered across the range. The Kylaq Sportline is covered by Skoda’s Super Care package, which includes a standard four-year warranty, four years of roadside assistance and four labour-free services.
Skoda is also offering a dedicated Sportline accessories pack with additional exterior garnishes, including a dark-chrome grille garnish, fender garnish and glossy-black body-side mouldings for buyers who want an even more distinctive look.
Skoda has also used the Sportline launch to improve the lower variants. The Classic and Classic+ trims now get Climatronic automatic AC and a rear defogger, making the broader Kylaq range a little more appealing even if you aren’t looking for the sporty version.
