The trio of Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Dzire and Swift comprise seven automatic CNG variants in total covering Rs. 7.92 lakh to Rs. 9.53 lakh price band
Maruti Suzuki has revealed the complete variant-wise prices of the new CNG AMT versions of the Swift, Dzire and Baleno in the domestic market. The automatic CNG range starts at Rs. 7.92 lakh for the Swift VXi and extends to Rs. 9.53 lakh for the Dzire ZXi. The Baleno sits between the two with prices starting at Rs. 8.32 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom). The announcement expands on the starting prices disclosed when Maruti Suzuki introduced automatic CNG across these three models.
The price premiums differ based on the model and transmission selected for comparison. The Swift and Dzire CNG AMT variants cost Rs. 35,000 more than their corresponding petrol and manual combinations. Against the equivalent petrol automatic, the Swift carries a premium of Rs. 82,500 and the Dzire costs Rs. 81,000 more. These differences place the new versions above the regular petrol range but add factory-fitted CNG with a two-pedal gearbox.
It must be noted that the Swift has the largest variant spread among the three models. Its CNG AMT range consists of VXi, VXi (O) and ZXi trims priced at Rs. 7.92 lakh, Rs. 8.18 lakh and Rs. 8.86 lakh respectively. The Dzire skips the VXi (O) trim and offers only VXi and ZXi versions at Rs. 8.53 lakh and Rs. 9.53 lakh (all prices, ex-showroom). The latter sits at the top of the entire CNG AMT price list.

The Baleno receives two automatic CNG variants. The Delta costs Rs. 8.32 lakh and the Zeta costs Rs. 9.32 lakh. Each carries a Rs. 40,000 premium over its equivalent manual CNG version. Compared with the corresponding petrol automatic, the difference rises to Rs. 79,000. This leaves the Baleno Zeta just Rs. 21,000 below the Dzire ZXi at the upper end of the range.
All three models share Maruti Suzuki’s 1.2-litre, three-cylinder Z-Series naturally aspirated engine. In CNG specification, the Z12E unit produces around 68 bhp and 102 Nm of peak torque. The new versions add the company’s automated manual transmission to the factory-fitted CNG setup. Fuel efficiency differs slightly across the three cars as well. Maruti Suzuki lists the Swift CNG AMT at 35.34 km/kg, the Dzire at 36.47 km/kg and the Baleno at 34.47 km/kg.

The Dzire records the highest claimed figure of the three. The automatic CNG portfolio now consists of seven variants across three of Maruti Suzuki’s high volume models. Swift accounts for three versions with Dzire and Baleno getting two each.
