Tata Curvv Series X Launched At Rs. 9.99 Lakh – Variants, Features And Prices Explained

The new Curvv Series X brings a wider range of features, engines and variants, with prices stretching from Rs. 9.99 lakh to Rs. 18.99 lakh

Tata Motors has expanded the Curvv range with the launch of the new Curvv Series X, bringing the SUV coupe’s distinctive design to a wider range of buyers. Prices start at Rs. 9.99 lakh, making the Curvv considerably more accessible than before. The new range combines multiple petrol and diesel powertrains with different feature packages, while retaining the model’s focus on design, safety and practicality.

The new Curvv range starts with the Smart X, which gets India’s fit R-Comfort Seats with passive ventilation, R17 Aero Style wheels, flush door handles, a rear armrest with EasySip cup docks and multiple drive modes. Safety equipment includes six airbags, ESP, ABS with EBD, LED lighting and Revee Guide Parking Assist.

Moving to the Pure X, buyers get a 10.25-inch HARMAN infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, six speakers, fully automatic climate control, cruise control, push-button start and auto-folding ORVMs. The Pure X+ adds leatherette upholstery and R17 diamond-cut alloy wheels, while the #DARK version brings blacked-out exterior and interior elements.

The Creative X+ adds considerably more equipment, including a voice-assisted panoramic sunroof, 360-degree 3D surround-view camera with blind-view monitor, R18 diamond-cut alloys and a twin-screen setup comprising a 10.25-inch infotainment display and digital cockpit. TPMS, automatic headlamps, rain-sensing wipers and a cooled glovebox are also part of the package.

At the top of the range, the Accomplished X and Accomplished X+ bring the more serious technology. These variants get an L2 ADAS suite, sequential LED lighting, ambient lighting, ventilated front seats and a six-way powered driver’s seat. The Accomplished X+ further adds a gesture-controlled powered tailgate, JBL nine-speaker audio, wireless charging, dual-zone climate control, an air purifier and connected-car technology.

The Curvv Series X is therefore less about introducing an entirely new SUV and more about making the Curvv proposition broader and more accessible. With the Rs. 9.99 lakh starting price, multiple powertrains and a long list of features spread across the range, Tata is clearly looking to put its SUV coupe in front of a much larger pool of buyers. And considering how much attention the Curvv’s design has already attracted, making the entry point more affordable could be exactly what the model needs.
