All-New Honda CB750 Hornet & CB1000 Hornet SP Launched In India

While the Honda CB750 Hornet will be sold across all BigWing and BigWing Topline outlets, the CB1000 Hornet SP will be available exclusively at Topline

Honda has added two heavyweight names to its performance motorcycle range in India – the CB750 Hornet and the CB1000 Hornet SP. Deliveries for both machines are scheduled to begin from June 2025 with bookings now open through Honda’s BigWing network. While the CB750 Hornet will be sold across all BigWing and BigWing Topline outlets, the CB1000 Hornet SP will be available exclusively at BigWing Topline showrooms.

Pricing is pegged at Rs. 8,59,500 for the 750 and Rs. 12,35,900 for the litre-class variant, both ex-showroom Gurugram. Online bookings can also be made via the official BigWing India website. Built around the ‘Aggressive X Pure’ styling ethos, a chiselled fuel tank, sharp extensions, and crisp lines are complemented by a full LED lighting system and an imposing headlamp assembly.

As for the colours, the CB750 arrives in Matte Pearl Glare White and Matte Ballistic Black Metallic shades while the CB1000 Hornet SP sticks to a single stealthy Matte Ballistic Black finish, accented subtly in gold for a more exclusive look. The Honda CB750 Hornet gets a Showa-sourced SFF-BP inverted front fork and a Pro-Link monoshock at the rear.

The more upmarket Honda CB1000 Hornet SP elevates the spec sheet further with a similar Showa setup at the front and a high-grade Öhlins TTX36 rear shock. Power figures land squarely in big-bike territory. The CB750 Hornet runs a newly developed 755 cc parallel-twin motor featuring a 270-degree crank, producing 90.5 hp at 9,500 rpm and 75 Nm of torque at 7,250 rpm.

Sitting above it, the CB1000 Hornet SP is powered by a 999 cc inline-four that delivers 155 hp at 11,000 rpm and 107 Nm at 9,000 rpm. Both units come mated to a 6-speed gearbox with assist and slipper clutch while the CB1000 further adds a bi-directional quickshifter as standard kit. The CB750 offers four riding modes – Sport, Standard, Rain, and User while the CB1000 Hornet SP adds a fifth by introducing a second customizable User setting.

Rider aids also include Honda Selectable Torque Control with three adjustable levels, an emergency stop signal system, and dual-channel ABS. Each motorcycle features a 5.0-inch full-colour TFT instrument panel, integrated with Honda RoadSync app functionality, allowing Bluetooth-based access to navigation, music and calls.

With their aggressive styling, rider-centric electronics and performance-focused ethos all around, the new Hornets look to rekindle Honda’s sporting legacy in India’s premium naked motorcycle space. The CB750 Hornet offers accessible big-bike appeal while the CB1000 Hornet SP targets experienced riders craving litre-class power.
