Maruti Suzuki will launch multiple new SUV models in the Indian market in the coming 8-9 months to expand its presence in new segments
Maruti Suzuki recently launched the all-new Victoris SUV in the Indian market. Now, the company is slated to launch several new cars in the coming months in the country, including all-electric, strong-hybrid, mild-hybrid and petrol-only models. The home-grown automaker has big plans to extend its product portfolio in the domestic market by bringing in new cars as well as facelifted versions of the existing models. 1. Maruti e-Vitara
Maruti’s first all-electric car for the Indian market will finally go on sale from Dec 2, 2025. The e-Vitara SUV was showcased in production-ready guise at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo in the starting of this year. It will directly rival Hyundai Creta EV, Tata Harrier EV and MG Windsor EV while developed locally at the Hansalpur facility in Gujarat.
Some of the notable features onboard the all-electric SUV are 10.25-inch all-digital instrument cluster, 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, multi-colour ambient lighting, 10-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, 40:20:40 split rear seats with recline, slide, and fold function, and fixed-glass sunroof. It will be launched with a choice of two battery packs namely 49 kWh and 61 kWh with the latter returning a driving range of 500+ km on a full charge.

2. 2026 Maruti Brezza Facelift
Recently, the 2026 Brezza facelift was spotted testing for the first time on the Indian roads. The mid-cycle facelift of the SUV is likely to come with subtle cosmetic updates, predominantly at the front fascia. It is believed that the 2026 Maruti Brezza could be introduced with Level 2 ADAS tech in order to stay relevant in the ever-rising competition.
Based on the global C architecture, the 2026 Maruti Brezza is expected to remain the same in terms of engine and performance. The tried-and-trusted 1.5L K15C petrol mill will continue with top power of 102 bhp and peak torque of 137 Nm. The transmission choices are also likely to be retained in the form of 5-speed manual and 6-speed torque converter automatic units.

3. 2026 Maruti Fronx hybrid
The keenly-awaited Fronx facelift is all set to become the brand’s first model to be powered by the self-developed strong hybrid system. The industry insiders claim that it might offer mileage of 35+ kmpl, which is never-seen-before in the Indian market. Likely to launch by mid 2026, the Fronx hybrid is also expected to get Level 2 ADAS suite with latest safety features such as adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist and lane departure warning among others.
Maruti Fronx was firstly launched in 2023 in the Indian market. The crossover is exported to more than 70 countries in different parts of the world. Now, with the arrival of a strong hybrid version with Level 2 ADAS, it will be even more premium, upmarket and modern than before.
