In the list of top 10 midsize SUVs in November 2025, Hyundai Creta sat first ahead of Mahindra Scorpio, Maruti Suzuki Victoris and Grand Vitara
The midsize SUV segment posted appreciable sales numbers in November 2025 again – driven by familiar best-sellers and rise of a new name. Hyundai, Mahindra, Maruti Suzuki, Toyota and Kia dominated the rankings once again with the Creta and Scorpio leading the way. The month also saw Maruti Suzuki’s Victoris recording sizeable volumes despite being a brand new model in the market.
Hyundai Creta maintained its long standing dominance by taking the top position with 17,344 units sold. Its year-on-year rise of 12 per cent indicates how the SUV continues to draw consistent demand even with newer rivals entering the space. Its brand loyalty, a wide powertrain option and timely updates have helped it remain the most popular name in the midsize SUV bracket.
In second place, the Mahindra Scorpio posted 15,616 units – recording an increase of 23 per cent compared to last year. The Scorpio’s road presence, improved comfort and updated features have allowed it to tap into the preferences of different consumers. Mahindra’s expanding production and better availability also contributed to its good sales performance.

The stellar performer in the list was the Maruti Suzuki Victoris which secured third position with 12,300 units. Despite being new, it has managed to create an impact due to multiple reasons. With a competitive feature list and Maruti’s wide Arena dealership network, the Victoris is shaping up to be a long-term volume generator.
Toyota Hyryder, placed fourth with 7,393 units, saw a massive 52 per cent year-on-year expansion. The hybrid advantage remains its biggest draw – appealing to buyers who want high efficiency without moving to full electric options. Toyota’s increased production and improved supply chain helped the Hyryder deliver one of the steepest YoY gains in the class.

Kia Seltos followed next with 6,305 units – enduring an 18 per cent yearly improvement. Mahindra’s XUV 700 came in sixth among the top players recording 6,176 units. However, its performance showed a drop of 32 per cent compared to last year largely due to the upcoming transition to the XUV 7XO. Many buyers appear to be waiting for the refreshed model’s launch.
