New generation Bajaj Pulsar 125 gets ride modes and a TFT display across The Mid And Top Variants
Bajaj Auto has today announced the launch of the new generation Pulsar 125 in India at Rs. 92,990 for the Base variant which goes up to Rs. 1.04 lakh for the range-topping Top variant with a split seat (both prices, ex-showroom Delhi). The motorcycle has been made available on sale in three variants namely Base, Mid and Top.
The 2026 Bajaj Pulsar 125 shares its update with the new-gen Pulsar 150. It gets a new engine that produces 12 PS and Bajaj claims the power-to-weight ratio has risen from an index of 81 to 93 over the previous generation. The entry-level offering also picks up the new diamond-type frame found in the new Pulsar 150 and the engine now acts as a stiffness member instead of the outgoing double-cradle chassis.
Ride modes, a first for the 125 cc segment, are available on the Mid and Top variants and riders can pick between Road, Rain and Sport. The Base variant does not get this feature. Cosmetically, the all-new Bajaj Pulsar 125 gets the same update as the 150 but they have been positioned differently with prices and performance being key differentiators.

The new Bajaj Pulsar 125 comes with a redesigned headlamp accompanied by a sharper visor and brighter pilot lamps, a wider and more sculpted fuel tank, a tighter mid-section for better knee contact and new crystal tail lamps set against a seat cowl that tapers to a sharp point. The Mid and Top variants are nearly identical on features.

Both get a 5-inch TFT display, ride modes, LED blinkers, a hazard light and idle start-stop, and the real difference between them comes down to the seat: Mid can be had in either single-seat or split-seat form while Top is offered only as a split seat. The Base variant sticks to a single seat, a coloured LCD and skips ride modes, LED blinkers, hazard light and idle start-stop.
A USB Type-C port is available as an option on this variant and all three versions get a monoshock rear suspension, crawl tech which was recently introduced in the Pulsar N160 SS and an LED headlamp as standard – upping their value proposition.
